Mr Saints

If you're going to let him buy a new team, you have to give him more than 5 games. What a joke they are!

He's the centre half we've been crying out for since Killer got injured. Very impressive.

He's looking like the player we saw in the first half of last season rather than the second. Thought he had turned a corner when Poch came in but unfortunately it hasn't carried over to this season.

Good article from a good pundit. He'll make a top manager IMO.

What a **** he is.

Agreed, the reaction after yesterday was a new low IMO.

First defeat of the season. Not worried, we have enough quality

Cheers Deano, only fond memories of you in a Saints shirt.

Bless them

Wanyama looked class. Osvaldo in for Rodriguez next week.

Deserved the win, if we play like that for the next 36 games we will do well.

Whatever the reasons are he will be missed. He was one of our best players last season and scored some big goals (Chelsea, Reading, Sunderland) so all the best Jase.

More brilliance from Cortese.

Proven Prem goalscorer for 6 mil? No brainer for me.

Rickie Lambert is Southampton and Southampton is Rickie Lambert He'll be here until he retires IMO.

That was an emotional half hour. What a player, what a man.

What a hero. What a man.

Either way, never known a kid pick up so many niggles. Lets hope it's not serious.

Shaw is worryingly injury prone for a 17 year old.

+1.

Great news and fully deserved. Can't think of a single player who deserves this more than Lambo.

Should be starting, last season proved keepers need a run of games to produce their best. Strong side apart from that.

Even if we were willing to sell (which we wouldn't be) why the **** would he want to go to Reading?

He has more end prodoct than Lallana and Puncheon IMO Keep him

Glasgow, great thread mate. My opinion is any club that achieves back to back promotions and then survives in the Prem is, on the whole, getting it right with recruitment.
