  1. Just abdicate... That's the only reform I'm interested in. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7967142.stm
  2. Because of that effing ITV player, I shouted at my monitor. How about that..?
  3. I saw what you did there. Clever..!
  4. You'll never criticise BBC's iPlayer again..! Well I won't.
  5. lol.
  6. You're getting the kind of feeling I had.
  7. I might as well do the ho-ho, split my sides reply as anybody. I think MM is fairly refreshing as a comedian. He's quite light, but he finds an edge, which is definitely funny. He always looks as if he's not quite in a comfort zone, and that helps. One to watch, along with that welsh announcer on Dave, who is also doing some Welsh Tourist Board adverts. He's unexpectedly funny too in stand-up. Watched a clip of very recent Billy Connolly stand-up, the other day. Made me think it was his time to retire. It was so unfunny. Times change, but Martel never varies.
  8. So did I, but just a few minutes ago that dotted circle just went round and around. And I knew I wasn't going to be watching the programme I wanted to see. Kind of let ITV's crappy player off the hook, a bit. But not much.
  9. You've obviously never been head over heels in love, matey. It hits the spot quite well in that respect. Obviously it was of its time, but it still stand up IMO.
  10. I'm not. I promise you I'm not. You can consider yourself a non-picked-on zone. OK..?
  11. Thanks. Don't need that. It also appears that all TVPlayers, BBC or ITV are having a bit of down time. Perhaps you can confirm this Deppo..?
  12. Demo example of a poster, who hasn't read the previous posts, coming up: WOT..? The old Leeds Utd centre-forward. Sorry I couldn't keep the bad spelling going right through to the end.
  13. As it happens, I missed the Clough documentary. I thought it would be on ITV's version of iPlayer, but no sign. Good ol' ITV. It's Coro and Co, and bugger all else. Low quality TV as always. NB: That's a hint for anyone to provide a link for me to the documentary.
  14. I feel so much better now. When I was your age, my waist size was 28" all the way to my late 20's, when it went up to 32". Crazy love in my 30's brought it back down to 28", and now I'm W36/L34. There's quite a few Weebles on this site, who'll become Elephants, if they're not careful, by the time they reach middle-age.
  15. I should really. But I won't.
  16. There is an undoubted tendancy amongst certain posters to write first before reading. Nickh is not normally amongst those, however, I believe the point I make is valid.
  17. Perhaps you could record them from now on then..? Southampton have been featured several times on the programme.
  18. But nickh does go on the main forum a lot of time.
  19. Hmm... how about Never Let Her Slip Away then..?
  20. Presumably you haven't seen any of The Big Match series repeats on ITV4, that are currently transmitted on Thursdays at 11.30am and 4.00pm [in about 10 minutes or so, as I type] and Fridays at 12.30pm. There was a bit of noise last week, as the 1979 League Cup Final was being shown. It makes me wonder whether certain posters actually bother to read anything on these forums.
  21. No mate, [but I know what you mean] because I've always rated Joe Jackson quite highly. Hence: Look Sharp I'm The Man Night & Day Body And Soul owned by me. And I'm sure there would have been more but for an emotional disturbance of the financial kind.
  22. Yes. Wouldn't buy their music, but they were of an ilk that were played on the radio during the 80's that got you winding the window down and resting the arm on the sill while you turned the volume up. Other artists that appealed that way were Kool and the Gang, Wax, Andrew Gold, Level 42 [ They all have their place in what I consider Quality Pop.
  23. Unless it's life or death, you're never too old for that.
  24. Aw shucks, there was no need to thank me for the heads-up, guys..!
  25. Don't worry mate, we've all done it. Probably me more than most.
