  1. Started this thread off quite promisingly. But with that comment, surely you descend into TMS..?
  2. That's so sweet. And a typo just for me, too.
  3. Just another example of how the possible [probable..?] relegation, and if that happens, almost certain administration, will have been quite unecessary, and almost entirely self inflicted. Ironically, the better form since, our other Dutch connection, Wotte took over the reigns actually demonstrates this. If someone actually wants this club to go under, they couldn't be planning this convincing drama out any better.
  4. Aha..! All my radio drama talk is having an effect.
  5. Take it down to the town tip the next time you're passing, and put it into the specific bin. Parts wiill get recycled.
  6. Balls..!. Sailing Club meeting and I have to be there. There's no way I can cry off.
  7. I lolled. Quite a lot, in fact. Must be spring and the beginning of my better moods.
  8. Used to think he was really funny. Then I thought he was awful. Now I think he's really funny again. I don't think he's being any different, it's just that I'm seeing things his way again. A definite one-off.
  9. Rendevous With Rama by Arthur C Clarke. Made a point of recording the Classic Serial off Radio 4 online for the 2 x 1hr episode story. 20 minutes in and not bad at all.
  10. That's reminded me of Kevin Phillips-BONG [slightly silly party]. I never heard any BONG references while the real Kevin Phillips played for Saints. Missed opportunity there, I think.
  11. Kia Ora, DSM. I know he lives in NZ, and as I know the geography fairly well, having also lived there, I just happened to wonder where the museum was specifically..!
  12. I assume you never had a problem with renaming mp3 tracks before..? Presumably, you have changed a couple of relevant Windows settings since you last renamed a MP3 file. This has happened to me occasionally aswell [i won't bother going into details as we would be here all day], and the cure is to make sure you finish the renaming with .mp3 Windows will suggest to you that the change of the file extension may cause the file to stop being recognised, but as that is already happening, you're losing nothing. Try it. Make a copy of your track and change its name and add the .mp3 file extension. I'll actually be mildly surprised if it doesn't work. By the way, you should find that the usual icon for your MP3 file remains, rather than being replaced by Windows own unrecognised file icon.
  13. Where was the museum, Seatbelt..?
  14. Perfectly reasonable answers to your question are elsewhere on this site. You have chosen not to take in their message. So I'm not going to waste my time with you.
  15. That's peculiar. You posted the same message in The Lounge, to which the answer was BANG WRONG. And then you come into the main forum and say exactly the same thing. Do you actually consider any answers that may differ from you own opinions..?
  16. Here's the only dancing bloke worth watching. Still not bettered all these years later :
  17. In the BBC Predictor I had Saints losing today at Brum, and still managing to survive the drop reasonably well. I must admit, it probably had just as much to do with other teams failings, as our good play. Although, of course you can't guarantee their form.
  18. Confused..? You had to be there. I got out after about a minute.
  19. Really FF..? Lawrie might have professional grievances with RL, but if a person is doing well, I've never found him too blinkered to acknowledge it.
  20. Almost anything starts out with the odd mixed feeling. But Saints are a football club, and I am a supporter. My starting point this season was that we had the wrong chairman [for those that don't know, I used to be pro-Lowe] and board conducting an unnecessary experiment, but it was one that had interesting possibilities. It had to be supported, because a decision had been made. Under this policy, Saints played some really attractive football at times, but like WBA, one division above them, it had no real end product. As per usual, RL stuck to his guns far too long, and may well have jepordised the entire club's status. A few weeks ago, I would have said it was almost certain, but after 3 excellent results, Wotte may have just saved the club's bacon. However, I'm still of the opinion that we have the wrong chairman in place. RL is divisive and despite his soundish financial abilities, manages to waste money by appointing the wrong people, and then having to settle their contracts. His penchant for getting ex-employees to sign no-disclosure agreements also bothers me, because it suggests he has something to hide. And for me, there must be transparency, or as close as one can get to it. RL and Co are miles away from that.
  21. That's just about right.
  22. More oh dear... it's has become an XTC evening/morning. Complicated Game [Drums & Wires]... If there is anything better in the genre, I've yet to hear it. Truth is, there's nothing like it. Well, possibly Scissor Man.
  23. That's slightly unnecessary. Especially as it isn't her birthday [anymore].
  24. That's the stock answer from the year dot. Still makes me grin that it's alive and well.
  25. That's just your control defence mechanism kicking in.
