Post-Match Reaction: Chelsea 1-3 SAINTS
Yorkshire Saint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I have always enjoyed listening to Jose ...but all respect gone after that interview, HE has the audacity to complain about the referee and not getting a penalty. No grace no respect for a truly great Southampton performance. -
Quality ****ing quality, the least we deserve

Disgraceful ref. Truly disgraceful. We are not being troubled otherwise I think we are doing a thoroughly professional job

http://mobile.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/20150909-ralph-krueger-southampton-nhl-announcement-2678588.aspx Seems an odd one I cant see the benefits to the club like he says .... Trust his judgement but could do with enlightening

Thank you for the insight. the very best of luck to you I am sure you will achieve your dream. Let us know when you do! This is the kind of thing I was hoping to read, more so, if someone had succeeded have they ever thought about polling opinion on here for fans, for example I see the media roles are high on the advertisements, could it be that we are a source of information to bridge the gap between what the club intends and we expect.....

So many employment opportunities versus so many thoughts on forums such as these to be captured .. I would have thought that more would have applied for roles at all levels. There seems to be quite a wide range of intellect and compatancies on here I would have thought more would have speculated and taken on the experience of applying if nothing else....together as one and all!

There always seems to be a lot of job opportunities at St Mary's. Has anyone ever applied for a role advertised online, if so which ones and has any one had an interview or been successful ?

Wanyama Transfer Rumours - Summer 2015 Edition
Yorkshire Saint replied to brett24's topic in The Saints
I hope that if I am ever unfortunate enough to discuss with my employers that I'm not in the "Right frame of mind"..that they may show some compassion for example with mental health problems including depression..... I really think we need to take it with a pinch of salt...and relatively it's only football and all decisions are based on p&l. -

Wanyama Transfer Rumours - Summer 2015 Edition
Yorkshire Saint replied to brett24's topic in The Saints
I agree, but patience is not the same as consolidate or stand still. Short term decisions with ageing players would concern me on the strategy, the decisions we are making encourage me even if they don't excite me which I think is what we are all now finding frustrating. It's almost like, we sell a player for 25 million so signing one for less than 10 must mean he is **** when in reality I would question the virtue of the amount of cash received for Shaw, Lovren and esp Lallana who was worth half what we received. Couple that with the added security all this television money is giving the likes of Saints, WBA and Everton (it's no coincidence they are all digging thee heels in over players all of a sudden) ..I think we should be fairly optimistic if not justifiably frustrated. Time will tell I suppose but as I say, the moral is one thing that would concern me as per one quote above, that is what killed us in 2003. -
Wanyama Transfer Rumours - Summer 2015 Edition
Yorkshire Saint replied to brett24's topic in The Saints
Fair enough but Not on the basis of making sustainable steps, I for one did not expect us to be back where we see so quick and we have to expect a period of not always progressing so fast at some stage...maybe a little patience is now required to steady the ship before we re march on one more and Romeu, Classie, Suarez and Juanmi are certainly small steps in that direction I have no doubt. -
Wanyama Transfer Rumours - Summer 2015 Edition
Yorkshire Saint replied to brett24's topic in The Saints
I genuinely think Romeu looks a good signing ... Pound for pound nothing between him and victor on first impressions. Classie, let's see but at the end of the day to have a few caps with Holland he must have something about him and I think 80% of us would have taken a Dutch international signing even 2 years ago. The club have said no one will go and I see another Morgan situation with Victor but at the end of the day if he is being a **** with sickness bugs etc let him go for maximum amount when we are ready albeit jamuary or next year and get another in. No one is bigger than the club .... We have money in the bank and worst case we go were to go down which I can't see then we are sound as a pound financially as per the sustainable model. Bottom line, victor can **** off if he does not like it....my worry is that the squad does not look together as one, interviews look demoralising.....the question is it a matter of forming relationships or are the deeper problems in the squad as a result of changes..... -
Terrible, first time I have had bad stream tbf - willow knows about it everyone's moaning on Facebook

Southampton v FC Midtjylland: Match Thread
Yorkshire Saint replied to Saint Scott's topic in The Saints
Hardly a vote of confidence for the two new right backs. Caulker can't play LCB that's for sure ..awful distribution. We look nervy -
A decent reply in this melee of childish abuse, thank you. I guess it comes down to the levels of risk and to be fair no one else has succeeded in high risk strategies, thinking Leeds, Tottenham, Pompey etc As ****ed as I am with another summer of disruption, as above, at least all this money flooding in to the club is lining our pockets....the club should be sustainable for future generations but it's all so sterile....with out an element of fun you can have all the money in the world!
