All over sky sports news and now on BBC sport ...it looks game set and match that he is gone in 48 hours. I hate to get negative on this and the board have been put in a hard place by cortese in effect, but you have got to question there honesty to communication that they promised and question where we are going from here. The flip side is that it shows the danger of giving one man too much power, Cortese gone, mopo seems to be following and it's hard to see players won't follow. Hopefully the structure of the club is changing so that individual changes have less effect in the future and I think this is the direction KL is taking but maybe 12 months to late....I'm guessing we might now have some short term pain but come back stronger, eventually. Nigel Adkins back anyone - drawer a blue line and move forward together as one.

Anyone remember Southampton Clubcall... I remember being kept hanging on and racking some huge phone bills up hoping to hear that the likes of Tony Cascarino had joined Saints. Never forgave him for joining Celtic ha

Fantastic - England forward line in top form
-
This would be a great win with a lot of the teams below winning it maintains a good gap from any lingering worries of getting dragged down for end of season jitters. With Newcastle and UTD losing it also keeps us in with a shout of pushing our noses in to the top 7 again

Kelvin Davis on Radio - We are a nice bunch with good team spirit and if anyone does not want fit in to that way then they wont be welcome.

What are the words to the Boruc song

Agree - care should be taken making false assumptions, although equally it could be a miss translation and he could be referring to a psychological loss of form only.

Gazza not good enough we all know that but he is young. Fox, I will be surprised if he is seen playing for Saints again - 18 year old right back coming across in your place says enough. Jos, unfortunately just not good enough, unless Fonte is injured who knows...... Let's be honest Sherwood just worked the above out after 30 mins and came down from the stands to tell them and it was game over. One thing that does worry me is the amount of long balls.....and lambert seems to be lost. Positive = Lallana, almost looking world class at times

Post Match Reaction: SAINTS 2-0 Fulham
Yorkshire Saint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Martin Jol - "after the first half especially - you have got to be happy coming away with a 2 nil defeat" ...say no more -
Fulham are poor - but you can only beat what's in front of you. You have got to say this is VERY impressive.

Truly one of the worst halves of premier league football I have ever seen - Wanyama WTF?

Straight after that saints west ham game in the footage above I played for Salisbury and South Wilts in a match on the pitch - we used the room at the bottom of the stairs where the players ran out as a changing room and we litteraly came straight out at the final whistle. Then they kept the West Ham fans in for15 minutes and I warmed up in front of them..every time I caught the ball they cheered every time I let it in they booed ..I played first half in front of Milton Road and let 3 goals in ...remember how much bigger it all seemed on the pitch. My one chance to play at the Dell and I conceded three goals, broke my thumb and got subbed at half time ha

Agreed - I text some Utd Mates the same that Lambert was so good he could even make Welbeck look half decent ha

Anyone remember this chant on Milton road? We all agree that Matty is better than Gazza ... Maybe it's time for... We all agree that Rickie is better than Rooney .....
