  1. We will be promoted after wining the next three matches, 3-0 tomorrow, 2-0 against Reading, 3-2 against Peterborough, 88 pts. WHU will get two home draws, and an away win and we are promoted.
  2. Ordered mine on Thursday not arrived yet........
  3. Assume we are playing in Yellows?? Can anyone confirm?
  4. This is what will happen: SAINTS 92 Skates 3 Palace 3 Reading 3 P'boro 1 'Boro 1 Cov 3 READING 86 leeds 1 brighton 0 saints 0 forest 3 palace 3 brum 3 WHAM 84 Barnsley 3 Brum 1 Brighton 1 Bristol city 3 Leicester 1 Hull 3
  5. On Friday Reading will draw, Saturday Saints will win 5-1, West Hoof will win Monday we will win @ Palace, West Hoof will draw with Brum and on Tuesday the bum bandits will beat Reading. So after Tuesday evening that will leave us 7 points clear of Reading, 8 points clear of West Hoof with 4 games to go. Setting up the promotion winning game against Reading.... and the title winning game against Posh.......
  6. OMG just heard Chivers has been sold to the Spuds... what are we going to do now????
  7. Don't know if this has already been posted, if so sorry! If not makes an interesting read especially the bit about converting the £33M loan into shares so the club owes nothing!! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17547804
  8. Birmingham away, 0-0 draw in the snow. Won 2, drawn 4 lost 2 Two more games on TV, Reading and Borro.
  9. Could have been so different if Guly and Sharpe had scored. Guly should at least hit the target, Sharpe's pen was poor. From then on we were 2nd best. Jos was dreadful, at fault for their 2nd and 3rd. We need to learn from this result and ensure that the players realise that the hard work is not completed yet, we still need 12 points to guarantee promotion, thats 2pts per game. Looking at the fixtures, 2 wins over Easter will set us up nicely. Believe!! We will be promoted....... as champions!! COYR
  10. For the title we need 12 points, 10 points will give us promotion. No problem, two wins over Easter and then beat Reading and we will be almost there....
  11. Cant see Reading getting anymore than 85pts and WHU will have done well to get 18pts from their remaining 9 games. So IMO all we need is to reach 87 pts, so that'll be at Palace, so party time on Easter Monday!! COYR
  12. Looking at the games we, Reading and WHU have to play, I think that 4 wins will give us promotion, 5 wins, 90pts and possible the title. COYR Saints: Doncaster (H) Blackpool (A) Skates (H) Palace (A) Reading (H) Peterborough (A) Borro (A) Coventry (H) Reading Blackpool (H) WHU (A) Leeds (H) Brighton (A) Saints (A) Forrest (H) Palace (H) Birmingham (A) WHU Burnley (A) Peterborough (A) Reading (H) Barnsley (A) Birmingham (H) Brighton (H) Bristol (A) Leicester (A) Hull (H)
  13. Great post CB Fry, and totally agree. I said at the end of last season we would go straight up again, have repeated it all season and still believe. There is a desire, a togetherness in the team; they work for each other and all have the common goal of promotion. 4 wins and I think the champagne can start to flow!
  14. 49 live in Ampfield 1st home game 1969 vrs Spuds. Chivers was playing for them. Went to numerous reserve games before that. 1st Away game, can't remember...... I've been to so many but would have been mid 70's, certainly before the 1976 semi final against palace in April 1976. First had a season ticket, Under East Stand Terrace, the season before Keegan arrived, was that '77 or '78? Have had a season ticket ever since and now in the Itchen North, Block 4
  15. Guly was very poor last night. Thought he played well Saturday but last night............... Cork wasn't much better either.
  16. Have to say I am dissappointed with only a draw. Granted WHU got all their players behind the ball and effectively marked Ricky out of the game, thus reducing our threat immensely, but against 10 men for 70 minutes we should have won. Billy Sharpe's miss was dreadful and he should have scored. We failed to create enough clear cut chances. Guly, well was a joke. I have seen 10 away games now and Guly simply does not perform away from home. Just after they scored WHU attacked down our right, FR was against 3 players, Cork covered but Guly was simply walking back into our half, he sems to be in his own little world in away games. Puncheon was brilliant when he came on, made a real difference and most surely start on Saturday. Cork had another poor game as well. Lallana is nearly back to his best What I find worrying is that we do not seem to have a captain that drives the players forward, leads by example and shouts encouragement at the players throughout the game. Fonte seems too quiet to me and Hammond is not the answer as captain either imo. We need a Jimmy Case or Alan Ball type that will lead the team...... But going to both Brum and WHU and not losing ae good results. We must now go on a winning run to put some breathing space between us and the rest.
  17. Does anyone know where the live streaming of the match can be found? Am in Switzerland so any info would be greatly apprecited. Coyr
  18. Without any doubt Morgan!
  19. Absolute crap. RL is going no where.
  20. BBC Solent Sport @solentsport #saintsfc Doncaster boss Dean Saunders quotes re Billy Sharp "Obviously I'm dissapointed to be losing my best player"
  21. Latest: BBC Solent Sport @solentsport #saintsfc cont....The BBC in Yorkshire have told us that the two clubs have a agreed a fee for the former S****horpe Striker,
  22. Think he needs to be signed 24 hrs before the match
  23. Just heard exactly the same!!
  24. Just been informed that Billy Sharp is having a medical before signing for Saints. Will try to get more info, reasonably reliable source.........
  25. Good result, gives us another game to try out the youngsters and give players a run coming back from injury. Move on to Tuesday and back to winning ways!
