We can argue about semantics and whether the club 'tried' in various places, but we are where we are. Have been saying this for ages. Defence is very poor, and without any depth. Yoshida untested. I'd have spent £5m on an excellent CB, and then another £5m on another. The rest I would have spent on a keeper. Oh, and Fox isn't up to it either. To ignore all this is negligence.

Yes, fair point. It would just be nice if the club paid attention to the more pressing areas in need of strengthening (which does not mean ejecting players) and not piling on the attackers. Seems very blinkered approach to me, which is upsetting when our non-marking defence lose it in Fergie time. PS where DID those four minutes come from? Anyone know?
