Clueless manager
-
Go now Ralph
-
Ok. I hope we win. Makes my weekend when we do.
-
Not enthusiastic about our line up’s ability to score goals goals goals tbh
-
Shane Long. Our manager really is clueless
-
Think they will be too strong for us today. 1-2
-
I see our Ralph didn’t get the Austria job. The other one did.
-
My car is also serviceable. It's still shit though.

I wish him well and don't feel snubbed. Just that we have really mismanaged him, including dropping him for McCarthy in key games for no apparent reason. Compounded by McC being so bad. So my feeling would be that no wonder he feels his face doesn't fit after brilliant performances and yet still being considered not really worth the effort of pushing to keep (conjecture). In terms of McCarthy testing the market, have you ever heard of any club ever expressing an interest for him? Me neither. Speaks volumes. This blindness is a bit like our inability to really solve the centre back situation since VVD left. Which in part fuels my own thought that we actually need a new defensively minded manager (or at least more defensively) in order to solve our leakiness. Personally think we need to recreate that Wanyama et al model as a spine, and Forster would be a good part of that (certainly cheaper to retain than buy anew)

Think there may still be a chance when they upgrade.
-
Thomas Frank is favourite (4-1) to be our next manager. Then again, Alan Pardew is next, followed by Frank Lampard. Hmmm
-
'Fallen out of favour' suggests it has nothing to do with his ability. Giving him that contract was mystifying, especially given his match-losing performances for years. Really think there's something long if we feel he is the bedrock behind which we build a strong spine. Already worried for relegation next season if so.

Becoming a Saint still a step up
-
Personally completely fine with loyalty but if they're not good at football then it doesn't count for much. If we have actively made a choice that McC is the better keeper I think our whole management team need to go to Specsavers
-
Ings did okay too, as did a certain Alan Shearer
-
We clearly 'let him go' by offering a contract to a keeper who is worse, mystifyingly. I'd be off too if I felt my employers were a bit thick/blind. And maybe our contract offer was so low as to say 'feel free to leave if you want'. Guess we'll never know, but there does seem to be a bit of weirdness about our goalkeeping situation, and I suspect Kelvin Davis may have his fingerprints on it
-
As someone who has also done their ACL playing footie, I wish him a swift recovery. Worst pain of my life
-
Guess the Arsenal deal is off then
-
Tino - suspected ACL. Out for 2022. According to @saintsextra

But in terms of other options I find it hard to think of a worse keeper than McCarthy. Certainly none from the Prem
-
Yeah, was only joshing
-
He would be number two to Ben Amos at Wigan

They have lost their minds.
