  1. I hope that is out of frustration. The fact that we haven't truly won a game comfortably (by 4 or more) this season, suggests that we haven't quite turned on the awesome switch like we arguably should be doing more often. Hold on Saints. 2-2 would hurt BAD.
  2. I hope we are not going to regret taking Lallana off. If it was "to rest him", it shows a complete disrespect for the opposition. We MUST hold on to this win. We SHOULD still win this 3 or 4-1.
  3. I take that back... for now FFS DO NOT FAIL THIS ONE SOTONIA!!!
  4. unbelievable crowd!!! with this performance we should be able to muster up 25,000 ish for a while???
  5. Getting 3 would be a nice start!!!
  6. I'd like to think that's because of how awful Stockport seem to be playing...
  7. COYR - see out this 45 minutes with maximum enjoyment and minimum nerves please!!!
  8. BBC Text says an unfair challenge. I'm guessing he's gone in with two feet, studs up on Spiderman. Gotta win this now. Though concentration still paramount. Hopefully we'll hit 4.
  9. I understand... but it's gonna happen sooner or later. However if they are to miss any game, Luton would be ideal (if it counts). So on second thoughts, you have a valid point. COYR
  10. Do the words "Leeds" and "Tranmere" mean anything to you!!!!!!!!!
  11. TROTMAN!!!! u go the man
  12. Lets take one soon boys!!! I don't want to see any posts reading "Typical Saints" in the next few hours!!!
  13. as long as its raining home goals... and not threatening a postponement!!!
  14. If we relax now, play our game and frustrate Exeter a bit, this could be a great day out for the many in attendance.... leading to possible bigger gates in the future... COYR KEEP IT COOL!!!
  15. w000000000000 Lllooooooyyyydddoosss
  16. I don't think I could cope losing to two different Devonshire sides in the space of 2 Boxing Day's...
  17. If that's true I'll get my coat... though it would have been worth a shout just for a couple of months. Yes it is a Mickey Mouse league but these are World Cup standard players we are talking about. Australia are no pushovers either.
  18. When March comes around, the Football League loan window will still be open, and this is when the A-League football season comes to an end in Australia. Australia national coach Pim Verbeek has insisted that players wanting to make the South African World Cup side play competitively through until May, otherwise they will not be selected. If anyone of any importance reads this site, get your scouts out there, because if we need that little bit extra to push to the play offs - this could be our saviour. The players may not want to come here - BUT THEY MAY BE FORCED TO!!! Jason Culina > former PSV midfielder, 29, who plays anywhere in the centre of midfield. will probably start in the socceroos first team in the WC. Tommy Oar > short of a pacy winger? this young superstar is bound to make waves in Europe in the future, and his performances are sneaking him close to WC reckoning. Mile Sterjovski > striker, 30, his style of play is similar to Bobby Zamora and is likely to be in the WC squad. Craig Moore > former Rangers and Newcastle centreback who is commanding, a leader, and is expected to make the WC squad. Plenty of experience too. Alex Brosque > clever Sydney striker with great finishing ability and decent creativity. Impressing at the moment and has a chance of making the WC squad Also: Jacob Burns (midfielder), Scott Jamieson (full back) and Matthew Kemp (full back) are worth a look, all with chances of making the WC squad should they show some form. This is a chance that HONESTLY could be the difference between play offs and 7th or 8th place in the league. The A-League may not be a great league, but it has some decent individual players that would no doubt help our cause here in League One. PARDEW - GET YOUR SCOUTS OUT THERE!!!
  19. I don't think our record on Boxing Day has been that great in the past? Not as bad as the first match of the season but still we're not great at the 26th December game. Hopefully the big crowd will not make Exeter play above their ability, and hopefully it will not freak out our boys. It's probably one of the biggest home crowds that the likes of James, Hammond, Lambert, Schniederlin and Lallana have played in so they need to react well and not poorly. We must win this game if we want to have a chance of the play offs. This is Exeter. They are rubbish compared to us, and we need to make sure we prove this on the pitch. COYR!!! Head: Saints 2-1 Exeter Heart: Saints 3-0 Exeter
  20. Get over this defeat. It means little - its not exactly a loss to Exeter at home. Anyone who has followed Saints this season knows about the start we had, how we were something like 20 points off the play offs before the Yeovil game, and how we have become one of the strongest teams in the league since that game. On an overnight and most of Sunday reflection, I think missing Schniederlin was crucial. Need him back next week, and need to keep him in January. If anything happens in January, we need a CB. Agree with a few posters who have mentioned resting players for the FA Cup. I particularly worry about the period in January where we have Millwall, MK Dons, Swindon*, Brentford and Stockport within 15 days of each other. We need our players to be as fresh as possible so that we can achieve our so called "less than 7 points behind the play offs" target set by Pardew come Feb 1st.
  21. Bring in Beckford!!!!!
  22. Our best hope is that Leeds put 11 men behind the ball so that we can hoof it.
  23. Correct. its a difficult trip, and as long as we beat Exeter next week we have not gone off the play off track. FFS benjii ****
  24. Lets hope they sit back... blow
  25. Fergie is not a happy chappy!!! oh dear oh dear oh dear Come on SAINTS "shock" the planet - fk gradel we have lallana!!!
