  1. YEEEEEhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa lambert!!!!!!
  2. get him to get booked against Tranmere so he can miss the JPT!!!
  3. As nice as it is for us to be moving up places, i'd rather be looking at the results involving teams a bit further above us. I'd like to see Orient equalise against Swindon. But most importantly I want Saints to close out the 3 points!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Anyhow, results going well at the moment... if we can hold on we could find ourselves in a play off place if we add 10 points on to our total COYR
  5. can someone get me up to speed? according to the stats, we are battering them in posesssion and shots... are we on FIRE? or reasons to be very nervous...?
  6. I can't understand Skatesmouth now. > A few weeks ago, Storrie expects the transfer ban to be lifted in the 'next few days'. > Now, they can't afford to pay their players > So therefore they must be nowhere near paying off other clubs, the dirty dealing sh**s > Yet Storrie still thinks it will be lifted sometime this month > AND ON TOP OF THAT Grant believes he has money to spend Clearly, the rogue traders would have a field day investigating this farce of a disgusting football club.
  7. Southampton FC continue to be a national laughing stock as they begin to celebrate christmas on October the bl**dy 2nd.
  8. The prices are low because of the opposition. I could be wrong, although i'm sure a match against Pompey or Liverpool would cost around double that for entry...
  9. No reason why we should even contemplate not winning. We are better than them. Just look at the teams before the game and man for man you will see. Walsall have a terrible home following, have a lot of stay away fans. A bit pathetic considering they haven't been getting relegated recently (in fact, they were promoted in 2008!!!) If we play half decent and don't make any silly mistakes we will beat them.
  10. Was stunned when I saw the scoreline. 1-0 certainly is not a normal Saints performance... but thrilled with the result anyhow (even though it was 100% expected). Important to kick on now against Walsall and win. We are good enough - we know we are a better side than them. A loss could put us back in the bottom 4 which would be a massive blow to the confidence of the players again. Play Offs for me are still out of reach, just want to see the team playing well and getting good results for now... if the play offs start getting closer then we can think about that.
  11. No cleansheets for either team in the last 14 games Saints have played. Expect that to continue. Anything less than 4 points is unacceptable from these 2 games. A win at home against a team as rubbish as Wycombe (compared to us) should be a formality. A bit nervous about it though...
  12. It's gotta be the league. We need to be playing consistantly well this season, so that, even if we don't go up this season, we have a strong winning mentality against the teams in this league, and that we are confident for automatic promotion come May 2011. In terms of the cup competitions, clearly the JPT is more important. The FA Cup is merely a sideshow, where the only thing important about it is maintaining confidence and form for the next league game.
  13. 100% correct. It is all about just winning, getting through to the 4th round and having another chance at getting a good draw. Also, having less important games in January could help - is it right that Jaidi and Waigo could both be off to the African Cup of Nations?
  14. Well it will definately not be Northampton 0. And Southampton will surely score more goals than Northampton. The best bet is that there will be 3 or more goals in the game. I predict a traditional 1-3 to the red and whites.
  15. Aaaahh Love waking up to a win!!!
  16. Though we are in League 1, so on MOST weeks we should be expecting to win. Not a BAD result this, disappointing in a way but by no means a disaster. However, we must get back to winning ways against Hartlepool. Everyone can see man for man we are WAY better than them.
  17. spot on really, I think the word is frustrating, we know we should be higher up the table but being typical Saints we are doing it the hard way. I told myself 4 points from Norwich and Hartlepool, so if we beat Hartlepool we are on back on some sort of track. Anyway this season means little, next season is everything. If we do not get promoted in 2 years we are an absolute failure of a club.
  18. I cannot wait to see this Waigo in action. Does he ever stay ONSIDE!!!?!? Need to beat Hartlepool really.
  19. It just ain't Saintly
  20. for me now, the medium term target must be promotion in Season 10/11. That must be achieved. Just build the team this season, make sure we don't feck it up for once next season
  21. lightening doesn't strike twice and all that.
  22. Maybe in January... a defender becomes priority?
  23. How on earth is he like a "big plank". Is a big plank wide? tall? made of lead?
  24. 3 years ago we sat on a 2-1 lead at home to Norwich. I was there, and it was the worst Saints performance (for 10 mins) i've ever seen. Please don't do that again!!!
  25. So does Alan Pardew!!!
