It feels a very risky option to me. Frying pan and fire come to mind. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Didn't think you could rescind a red for two yellows? Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Would gave been interesting to see the decision if it had been at the other end. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I couldn't follow the game at all but it sounds like a good point, decent performance but opportunity for a win lost. Seems like we might have had a penalty late on (on Obafemi) and Pogba was immune from a second yellow because of his star status. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Agreed, if we get a decent offer. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Yes. Back problem. The cynic in me wonders if he's got the Jan window in view. Not that I think he's good enough at the moment to be attracting attention. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

No. Targett is definitely out. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Pretty sure Obafemi will start, along with Valery. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I totally disagree. He was lively on Tuesday and most certainly didn't look scared - weird thing to say. He had two half chances against Fulham and got decent shots away. His "sitter" against Leicester was nothing of the sorts. The rebound off the bar came to him fast at a very awkward height. Why compare with the youth of the "big" teams? He's what we've got and he's got potential that won't be realised unless he's given chances. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Valery didn't do much wrong on Tuesday and Hughes spoke highly of him today. But agreed, it would be brave. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Ings definitely out, Bertrand and Targett doubtful. May be Valery with Cedric on the left. The question for me us whether to stick with the three CBs who did quite well on Tuesday, sacrificing an attacking player, or go to two (preferably Yoshida and Vestergaard) to keep the attacking line-up. If it's three at the back, with Ings unfit, I'd go with Redmond, Armstrong and Gabbiadini with Obafemi on the bench. If two, play them all. Please no Austin! Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Interesting. On a much more basic level, he never seems to stay long anywhere. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

As an afterthought on the VAR incident, I'm still not happy that it seems the video ref can choose to review anything he/she chooses, effectively becoming a super-ref with the power to overrule. As far as I'm aware, the ref last night gave our goal without seeing the need to review, do I assume the intervention came from the video ref. I think that's wrong. We need a system in which the ref can refer anything he's unsure about with the added right of a fixed number of appeals from captains only, the appeal not lost if upheld, but the VAR can't come into use unless someone on the field asks. IMO, there was only one, or maybe two that he'd have had a chance with if he'd gone the right way. A couple were blasted down the middle which I guess was why he decided to try standing still Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

That's pathetic. They both played well. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Unfortunately it wasn't a good goal. The Redmond handball was right in front of me and clear. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Agreed on the CBS. They looked solid. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

We we're not in any way terrible. I was there. On this occasion we really were the better side and very unlucky not to win. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

Valery promising, Obafemi likewise. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk

I doubt anyone knows. And I'm far from sure a new manager will solve our woes. Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
