I’ve have read plenty about the holocaust thanks, probably more than you. I’m not for once suggesting that the Israeli government is as bad as the Nazis or what they are doing is anywhere near as bad as what happened during the holocaust. I just saw similarities with the ghettos in how they are starving children to death.

Are we allowed to compare them to Nazis now or is that still antisemitic? I was at the Imperial War Museum a couple of weeks ago and in the Holocaust Galleries and there were pictures of people starving in the ghettos created by the Nazis and what the Israelis are doing to Gaza instantly sprung to mind. It’s just fucking inhumane and is going to sow seeds of hatred for generations to come.

This. I lived there for for just over 5 years and whilst it was good for going out to gigs etc, day to day life it is pretty grim. Great city to visit but would never live there again.

Exactly, my daughter got into football after the last Euros, I think it’s great that it is getting promoted so much. Men are better at pretty much all sport but you don’t see female tennis players or athletes getting the same stick. Football has always had this weird macho thing attached to it.
