Obviously not deep enough to not be able to listen to the constant reminders of the importance of staying fit during lockdown.
-
So do people who get injured playing contact sports, cyclists who get hit by cars, people who have accidents doing DIY, drinkers, smokers, old people….
-
You must have had your head up your arse most of last year then because I remember it being talked about a lot.

You can be asymptomatic wether you are vaccinated or not, that why it is important to take these measures to stop the spread. The thing that winds me up most about these anti-vax fuck-wits is that they don't trust doctors or medical science when it comes to doing something to help the community, yet when they are gasping for breath because they have caught it it's medical science and doctors they go crying to, not google.

I have read a few articles and they all seem to agree that whilst the peak viral load is similar the levels of nasal virus in the vaccinated drop faster than do those of unvaccinated infected people and so reduces transmission by varying amounts. Obviously it depends on the time since they had the Jab and the covid variant. I would be interested to see the studies that say that there is no difference.

Did you read this: "People who are fully vaccinated against covid-19 are far less likely to infect others, despite the arrival of the delta variant, several studies show. The findings refute the idea, which has become common in some circles, that vaccines no longer do much to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. “They absolutely do reduce transmission,” says Christopher Byron Brooke at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. “Vaccinated people do transmit the virus in some cases, but the data are super crystal-clear that the risk of transmission for a vaccinated individual is much, much lower than for an unvaccinated individual.” A recent study found that vaccinated people infected with the delta variant are 63 per cent less likely to infect people who are unvaccinated. This is only slightly lower than with the alpha variant, says Brechje de Gier at the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment in the Netherlands, who led the study. Her team had previously found that vaccinated people infected with alpha were 73 per cent less likely to infect unvaccinated people. That's just bollocks, if you are vaccinated you are less likely to spread the Alpha and Delta variants, probably too early to say how much for this new variant: https://www.newscientist.com/article/2294250-how-much-less-likely-are-you-to-spread-covid-19-if-youre-vaccinated/ So your work pal is choosing to be more of a threat to you.

Of course they will be making plans, what is your point?
-
The most fascinating bit is why some weirdos choose to put themselves and others in danger by not having the vaccine.
-
I thought I would post a link you understood.

I know this is typical exaggerated Daily Fail crap but there will be a cost: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10287979/New-Covid-restrictions-cost-UK-economy-4bn-month.html
-
These restrictions will cost the economy a fortune, I hate Johnson as much as the next guy but not even I think he would impose them as some bizarre plan to change a couple of day’s headlines.
-
Did you watch the press conference? It’s the same subject, the main theme of the questioning was what effect their partying would have on the public’s compliance with new restrictions.
-
For a government getting slated for taking the piss out of COVID restrictions, surely there couldn’t be a worse diversionary tactic than putting more restrictions on the general public?
-
What are you dribbling on about?

He won't walk because of the pay-off but he's probably already looking forward to his next job. With our current owners we are just swimming against the tide, Ralph will be better off jumping ship and leaving the next guy to have relegation on his CV.
-
Agree. We all know that the hypothetical free-kick that never happened went right into the top corner.
-
Not sure why you expect improvement when we are investing so little compared to others. I don’t think our squad is any better than our league position to be honest, we have some decent players but also a fair amount of shite we can’t get rid of because we can’t afford to.
-
Without new owners it’s just a matter of time anyway. The second half collapses are infuriating but getting rid of Ralph could very well mean we end up with another Pelligrino. For a skint club like ours being 6 points above the relegation zone is not a reason to roll the dice IMO.
-
Would be great if we can get an emergency signing, might be a turning point of the season if we actually have a decent keeper.
-
“Around 120 colleagues, all vaccinated against Corona, meet for a Christmas party.”
-
Useless cunts
-
Decent point, still seem to go to pieces in the second half again tho which is a worry.
-
Where have they said that they want to stop people shouting at the ref or making a noise? I must have missed that bit, do you have a link?
-
Think you missed the sarcasm.
