  1. I’m just trying to work out how shit my holiday would have to be before I felt the need to log onto a football forum and post about Kier Starmer’s opinion on cervixes.
  2. The people in the shops won't spread the disease as much?
  3. If they are aiming to become a European superpower then Eddie Howe would be an odd appointment, that’s putting it mildly. To start that sort of project you want a big name to attract the top players because even with shit loads of cash certain players won’t want to give up CL footie and move to some northern shithole.
  4. How can you tell?
  5. 17th now
  6. Think it was the other way round.
  7. His record of signings is mixed like every other club, some flops but he also signed players in League one that went on to do a job in the Prem, plus the likes of Ake, Wilson, Mings, Fraser who were a success. Even with money there is only a certain type of player who Bournemouth can attract so anyone managing them would have a mixed record. We would be nuts to sack Ralph at the moment anyway, when you look at the fixtures we’ve had we’re not underperforming at all.
  8. To be fair he took Bournemouth from -10 at the bottom of League 2 to the Prem in six seasons. I don’t think we should sack Ralph but if it happens Howe should definitely be considered. Bournemouth were always going to go down at some point regardless of who their manager was.
  9. But a few idiots booing because of concerns about a some Marxist takeover is not ‘racial tensions’. It’s people on no particular race booing people of many different races over something political - it’s not setting one particular race against another. The fact that players and fans who obvious are not Marxists get behind the message just makes it stronger IMO. It shows that despite the possible negative connotations and booing they are still determined to get the anti-racism message across. They are not just hiding away with some pathetic once a season logo on a T-Shirt.
  10. The majority of fans have applauded it, as I said before, previous campaigns have been pretty much invisible so barely get noticed. You are bound to get some idiot who boo.
  11. No, because all the 'Kick it out" stuff went largely unnoticed making it irrelevant - which is one of the reasons for the taking of the knee. A few people booing at football is nothing to do with racial tensions, it's just a bunch of Gammons getting all upset over 'wokeness'. No one is going to turn into a racist just because a few footballers make a harmless gesture. Anyone even slightly bothered by it must already have issues.
  12. We all know there is a link, but that survey was about the protests and riots after a black man was murdered by the police - of course tensions were raised. Where was the survey saying footballers taking the knee raised tensions? - I would genuinely want to read it.
  13. That article doesn't once mention football or taking the knee - which survey says footballers taking the knee raises racial tensions?
  14. or telling the truth? https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2021/oct/14/boris-johnson-promised-to-tear-up-ni-protocol-says-dup-mp-ian-paisley
  15. He says, discussing the subject on a thread that would exist if football players didn’t take the knee.
  16. It highlights the issue and instigates conversations - how can that be a bad thing?
  17. Making a positive impact.
  18. Definitely.
  19. Possibly, it's impossible to gauge.
  20. Exactly. That's what I was saying to the fuck-wit from Dorchester.
  21. So a fight breaks out with police after they try to arrest a racist and it's taking the knee that's the problem. Brilliant!
  22. It takes courage to vote? Where do you live, Baghdad
  23. So it's not Brexit's fault, is business fault for wanting profits. Brilliant!
  24. I guess this is where Deluded Missile has another mental breakdown and admits he doesn't give a fuck about the environment because he drives a big car and his offspring won't be effected anyway.
  25. This is another nail in our coffin, without an owner with cash it's just a matter of time before we end up in the Championship. Just shows that the Premier League has no morals whatsoever, they literally have let a murderer buy a football club. I don't want us to go down but when we do part of me will be glad to get out of it, it's turning into a farce no with the difference in resources between the clubs, City have shown that FFP is just a joke.
