  2. Exactly. i am not too sure what the mods can or will do about this but it does need addressing.
  3. Sadly, probably the reaction that they want.
  4. Glad that it`s not just me being a miserable old git then!
  5. Please don`t feed the knob. Am I the only one who becoming completely ****ed off with the egos of the "characters" on this forum who`s main aim is to post "look at me" and "I am right" so many times (BS nearly 1700 posts since November) because of their need to feel important? This is not about "Opinions". This is about a love of wanting a reaction and the feeling of satisfaction that they get when somebody bites. BS and a few others that I could mention are sending this forum downhill. I have been on this forum, and it`s previous incarnations, for a good few years, but I really am finding these self-appointed know-it-alls incredibly tiresome now. I am quite willing and able to take part in sensible discussions about any subject and am always open to the opposing views to mine, but I could really do without the juvenile needs of some people on here.
  6. I think that the majority of fans (apart from the forum "characters") have been quite impressed with the way that Saints have played since MP has been in charge. A bad result like todays and suddenly everything is doom and gloom and "I was proved right!". It was one game, albeit an important one. If you are going to judge MP`s reign on this result then I think that you need to have a look at yourselves. I expect that you were all crowing after the Man City result, unless of course you knew better.
  7. We probably did have the lions share of possession but sadly most of it was in our own half.
  8. My big moan about this is not the advent of CD`s or downloads. Even at my advanced age I embrace all that technology provides us with. My problem is the fact that most (not all!) popular music is now just "product" provided by artificially manufactured "artists". Whatever happened to the bands/singers who served their apprentiships and learned their art in smokey pubs and clubs before being picked up by record companies etc? Bands like Bellowhead, for example, are a breath of fresh air because thay are different and served their time in Folk Clubs and Festivals. The "Acoustic Music" scene is full of incredibly talented musicians and singers who will never be seen outside of Arts Centres and clubs. Sadly it`s not "real music" that generally makes money nowadays.
  9. Sorry. Old habits die hard! Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk 2
  10. If this is "Nothing is Wrong" it is a brilliant album.
  11. Not to mention players who were written off before they kicked a ball for us - Jhon Viafara, Jos etc
  12. Seems like "Wheeler/Dealer" might upset him the most!!
  13. Gettysburg Last of the Mohicans To Kill a Mockingbird
  14. Heavy tan? FFS Don't get Barry Sanchez started again! Sent from my HTC Desire S using Tapatalk 2
  15. Dany N'Guessan?? Sorry! Short term loan I N`Guess.
  16. :adore::adore::facepalm::facepalm: You were wrong in slating Adkins. You were doing it while he was leading us to two consecutive promotions. Only someone with a delusionary sense of self-importance ( or a troll of the highest order) would do that. Glad to see you back now that he has gone.
  17. I will never forget what NA did for us. I will never forget what I felt when I heard that he had been sacked. but I also realise that things move on, football can be a "cut-throat" business and that if NC`s ambitions are even close to being achieved, then the decision the make the change, however it was done, was probably the right one.
  18. Don`t forget the times that players are written off before they have even played!
  19. "Under the radar" He is not spectacular but he does the business. A great bit of business by somebody!!
  20. You are right. Happily PFC have become an absolute irrelevance. We are light years ahead of them.
  21. Went to "Transatlantic Sessions" at the Royal Festival Hall Last night. Absolutely brilliant night featuring 16 of the top traditional musicians and singers from both sides of the Atlantic. New series being filmed next month apparently.
