I am in Toronto at the moment and was when Spurs were here ( they beat TFC 3-2). The TFC stadium is on the waterfront area down from the CN tower and for a couple of days you couldn't go in a bar or restaurant down there without seeing Spurs staff and execs. Would imagine Ralph took in that game and the Newcastle game too and ended up talking to Spurs people out of courtesy as much as anything.

So why make the club asset poor (selling best - indeed most - players)? Surely that would result in a lower sale price? Or is that too simplistic?

Last time I looked Tommy was only making the bench for a non-league club in North Kent ( Ebbsfleet or Northfleet I think).

Bump....Anybody know when new home shirt can be ordered online? Press release states it will be available to order online but nothing on the club online shop site as yet. Since release is this Saturday they seem to be cutting it a bit fine.

Hang on a minute - You say NC wasn't a risk taker in one post but then state that KL - his boss - thought his strategy of increased investment was too risky, which led to him walking. So which is it? Was NC a risk taker or not? If he was, then he was indeed a potential danger to the club.

Post of the day - and some rational, objective thinking to boot; in rare supply around here at the moment....

Why then, if everything was going so swimmingly, did Markus's daughter feel the need to intervene and restructure the top level of the club? If NC was so convinced of his own righteousness with regard to the way he was running the club, why did he walk?
