Wherever you are, please stop and read Barcelonasaint's post above; one of the few voices of reason amongst the dross, drivel and utter stupidity on here tonight.
And who caused this "cluster****" of a summer? Saints? Or the greedy money grabbing let-me-go-or-else players who want to play for bigger clubs? Have a word with yourself. Honestly....
I always liked the fact that Klinsmann when he was at Spurs - and probably at other times too, clearly! - drove an old VW Beetle. None of this uber-showiness these modern prima donnas espouse.
Bump....Anybody know when new home shirt can be ordered online? Press release states it will be available to order online but nothing on the club online shop site as yet. Since release is this Saturday they seem to be cutting it a bit fine.
Don't disagree; just find it interesting how many people bemoaned (and are still angry about) the departure of the man who oversaw our inglorious exit from the FA Cup this season....Funny people, football fans.
Interesting that; looking at the Liverpool Echo site it reminded me of the Mirror's website....and look who owns the Liverpool Echo? You guessed it....
Hang on a minute - You say NC wasn't a risk taker in one post but then state that KL - his boss - thought his strategy of increased investment was too risky, which led to him walking. So which is it? Was NC a risk taker or not? If he was, then he was indeed a potential danger to the club.
Why then, if everything was going so swimmingly, did Markus's daughter feel the need to intervene and restructure the top level of the club? If NC was so convinced of his own righteousness with regard to the way he was running the club, why did he walk?
Presumably implying that you expect a new manager to have been identified, approached, interviewed, terms agreed and unveiled....in the mere 6 or so days since MP left?
Maybe, but my point is still valid. When was the last time you heard a player say " yeah, everything's great - the board, the manager, the chairman; but I'm leaving anyway"?
