Interesting that a few Stoke fans don't see that Wrexham (H) and Ipswich (A) compared to Derby (H) and Sheffield Wed (A) are two very different starts to the season. Ipswich found a good way of nullifying Shea Charles against us, but Stoke are not Ipswich. If they come in trying to do the same thing they will open up more space for us to play through.

passmap from The Analyst shows how Ipswich stopped forward passing from Welington, Quarshie or Stephens to Charles.

He's only just turned 21. FFS. He's done enough on the pitch in the last two league games to warrant his place. Yes he makes mistakes, but his pace and his throw add something others don't.
-
1 point from Ipswich away is going to be seen an a good result at the end of the season. Quarshie is getting a tough lesson as to the speed you need to make decisions in this league, he'll get there.

Prutton is the most entertaining Sky sports personality related to football.

Göztepe frustrate Mourinho at home again. Played 24 minutes of the second half with 10 men after Juan got sent off for two yellows, but fenerbache got a man sent off for two yellows themselves on 85.

Great image (he's taller than we thought)

He's surely in the starting eleven next game.

Exactly. loans that work: Romulo was a loan to buy for Goztepe, it was so successful they bought him properly early, and they've now made a fortune.

Spertsyan plays for a Russian Club. Due to sanctions, you can't just put a bid in for a player. Are there ways to get a player from Krosnador? Well PSG managed it, but they are under EU law and we're under UK law so there may be differences.

Good start to the season. Göztepe finished 1 pint ahead of Rizespor last year Rizespor actually beat Göztepe 6-3 on 18th may in one of the last games of 24/25

A stat that was brought up by the commentary team yesterday is that only 4 of yesterday's starting 11 played against Arsenal last match of 24/25. One of those was Robinson. It's a chance to get more understanding of the dynamic.

This is a whole 5 days before Ipswich. I think it will serve the club better to play a full first team squad to aid the connections and team building.

If we didn't have the frustration from getting so much from so many attempts, we don't have that intensity at the end.

Went too early thinking of the attractive fixture. Northampton cup match hasn't got as much sparkle, but got to give that one a glance first.

Yep, we did.

4 cruise ships leaving port between 16.00 and 18.00 so could be nightmare roads this morning.

"Local" means more than just who signs the ownership papers. P&O Cruises is headquartered in Southampton, employs over 1,600 locals, and brings tens of thousands of visitors to our port every year. That’s boots on the ground, money in the local economy, and a visible, ongoing presence in the community, including the sponsoring of the city’s football club. If that doesn’t count as a local company, then the word’s lost all meaning.
-
Dont know what the issue with Parsons here, hes been attributed many times with steering the sponsorships from local companies. P & O CRUISES (that's not ferries, by the way), Starling, Draper, Bargate etc That is one heck of a local companies contributing to Saints and earning reputation themselves.

and if they were sales, sell on clauses normally are for a percentage of the PROFIT, not for the percentage of the total fee, so would be nowhere near 8 million. Nearer £1 million for both if reported final sales fees are accurate.

I'm not so sure. When House and Blackmore went over to see Solak, Solak said that due to the loans when we were promoted we had to spend millions to stand still. I dont think they want us to be in the same position potentially come May 26
