Not all good players need pace I cite the likes of Sheringham and a certain M Le Tiss as good examples they depended on a unique combination of skill and intelligence to make things happen. Both qualities which Adam has in abundance. I believe he will go on to exploit these to the full. Players with electric pace tend to fade from their mid twenties onwards players with Skill and intelligence have at least 5 more years in them. Adam will be around for a long time if he can stay injury free (crossed fingers) and will continue to improve with experience and strength!

Out of our recent crop of Walcott, Bale, Oxo, Matt Mills, Surman, Best, Cranie, McGoldrick, Blackstock, Gillett, Fish Mills (all of who have gone on to forge good or reasonable careers in the top 2 divisions) I have no doubt that Adam Llanana will this season go on to prove he is at least up there with the first three and streets ahead of the rest. He could ultimately be the pick of the bunch and what an accolade that would be! Not many other teams can put together a list of such success! What a great youth system we really have. (and I am not even counting Kenwyne Jones who joined us as an unknown relative youngster)

Accepted but we need to remember he is a young lad with room to improve! Just look at how Matt mills turned out. We need to give the lad a chance! It is not his fault we dont have a 2nd regular to partner Fonte and he is filling in (mainly well by all accounts)
