  1. I'm completely lost now
  2. Darnation! I was about to go to bed. I'll have to stay up now
  3. 'Greases' is the answer to that clue I reckon Bugger you beat me
  4. Wouldn't the Creditors' Committee have the right to know what progress is being made? I'm sure the Administrator is obliged to report to the Creditors on a regular basis.
  5. Nothing really - although South Today have just said that Fry reckons one of the bids is close to being given Preferred Bidder Status :smt102
  6. Jan - me too! Yesterday, in the light of the 'Irish' news, I thought today would be the day all was done and dusted and I could get on with all the things I'm supposed to do. All the things I should have done ever since the 'We've got our club back' days when Wilde appeared over the horizon. But no - another 48 hours, 7 days, infinity until I can get my life back
  7. Sorry I misunderstood your point. I thought you were implying that everyone would get paid eventually. I was pointing out that a) Fry will get paid now and b) that the staff who aren't being paid will probably find it more difficult to get by than D Jones.
  8. Is no. 4 the rumoured Salz fronted interest
  9. I guess the difference is that Fry will continue to get his monthly salary whereas the staff won't. OK they might get paid eventually but that won't help most of them right now. Jones, I would hazard a guess, could probably manage with a delayed salary.
  10. Is his bid being fronted by LifeLong CherryPip, do you suppose?
  11. So, in effect, Begbies Traynor will pay Fry for the time being and then recoup his charges at the end. Rather than SLH paying him now And Begbies Traynor will also pay D Jones and, again, recoup the money at the end? Is that what you're saying?
  12. Does Fry submit weekly / monthly invoices for 'work in progress'? Or is his invoice settled at the end when we're sold / bust? And since Dave Jones is 'staff', why would he get paid when the rest of the staff won't?
  13. I think you're skating on thin ice, Trousers [-X
  14. It's used by people with hairy teeth (usually from Portsmouth BTW). HTH
  15. MOG - how come you haven't pulled the spelling to bits in that quote?
  16. Lobes and short sleeves?
  17. Nick - we aren't the ones that can cut him slack. It's the creditors who can / can't do that. He owes us nothing - information, updates, consideration..... Nothing.
  18. Que? http://www.wsu.edu/~brians/errors/grammer.html
  19. You know - I was SOOOO excited last night. Enjoying the silly stuff about grammar and clover because we were all relieved at the thought that it might be all systems go today. I can't begin to tell you how depressed and let down I am today. I don't need to tell you - you're all feeling the same
  20. Yeah good point So much for wiley ol' Rupert's attempt at circumventing the system eh?
  21. Unless, as Oxfordshire Saint hinted at on another thread, SLH paid the wages and not SFC?
  22. Well then, perhaps Wilde and Lowe should have matched his offer after all
  23. Do we know this to be a FACT?
  24. Someone should try this
