Is there anyone out there who can give a realistic opinion on what amount this would achieve?

How poor are they that have not patience! What wound did ever heal but by degrees? Thou know'st we work by wit, and not by witchcraft; And wit depends on dilatory time Othello or, from A Winter's Tale: What's gone and what's past help Should be past grief

I know, MOG, I know. I was trying to be sarcastic because I'm fed up with all the bloody sniping. The Saints part of my life is depressing enough without this fan on fan warfare STILL going on. And they say women don't know when to give up an argument - jeez!

So - what's the latest Solent news then? :smt075

How so? JF and half of Staplewood worth what on the current open market? A football stadium with no club to use it, heavily contaminated and with no planning permission for anything other than sports use, that would cost a fortune to remediate? A football club with no players and no ground to play on? Can anyone put realistic figures on these assets? Pancake I'm not saying you're wrong - I'm just interested to know the separate values of these assets compared with a realistic offer price for all assets in one bundle.

Why is it that every thread on this forum degenerates into a blame game / mud slinging competition? Why can't we just discuss the thread topic? Why can't we let byegones be byegones and move on? I despair sometimes

Interesting info WildSaint. Cannot Fry turn the 'deadline' on its head and tell the creditors that THEY have to accept an offer by, say, Thursday or risk losing everything. I know he works for the creditors, but surely he has the authority to tell it as it is?

Are you biased because you're one of them?

I think BT is blessed with intelligence too isn't he? Didn't I read somewhere that, if he hadn't become a footballer, he would have gone to medical school?

Well fed bunch of blokes, by the look of it

Has anyone tried the shower glass cleaning malarky? Does it really work? Cos I have struggled to find anything to remove the water / soap marks.

It's not often you see Isabel spelt that way. It's usually Isobel I think. But I'm sure the poster knows how to spell her own name.

There was some talk last year (or was it the year before) about Everton chairman Bill Kenwright who is, of course, good buddies with AL-W. That's the only very tenuous link I can think of.

But he is a Hampshire boy apparently: Baron Lloyd-Webber, of Sydmonton, in Hampshire (his title is hyphenated but his surname is not).

In the spirit of this thread, I was about to say 'I'm getting my skates on'. But I don't want that to be misinterpreted.
