  2. If 'tis he - I won't know how to love him! Or is he Another Briefcase in Another Hall?

  6. This has puzzled me a bit too, Nick. The only answer I can come up with is that the bank saw the dwindling attendances and realised that they'd continue to fall all the time RL was at the helm. Maybe they could see that the projected income could not be realised after all.
  7. IF this happens tomorrow, my company will not believe the increase in productivity from me

  16. If they've got half-decent auditors at the club, they should be asking for these. I'm a half-decent auditor .......

  18. Ooooerrr get her Local Authorities are the tightest bast*rds and amongst the slowest payers these days.
  19. However, those that CAN do and have done so very successfully are the best ones to find out errors and scams carried out by those who can't.
  20. Ok I'll ask you a question if you're paying..... Have you always been a plonker? That's £25 you owe me, based on my daily rate. Aythangyooooo
  21. Well this looks like a result: Saving a football club – preserving its future In 2004 Wrexham FC entered administration, owing nearly £900,000 to the Inland Revenue and with debts of almost £2.5 million. These problems had arisen for a variety of reasons, including the collapse of ITV Digital and poor cup runs. The Club decided to petition for administration in a bid to avert a liquidation petition by the Inland Revenue. Begbies Traynor was appointed to try to help the Club recover, particularly since it appeared that the owners had intended to sell off the land for property development, having transferred legal ownership of the land from the Club to themselves. Begbies Traynor sued for the return of the land to the Club on the basis that the owners had not acted in the Club’s best interests. The Court supported Begbies Traynors’ action and the land was returned to the Club. Begbies Traynor sought and found new purchasers - and Wrexham FC is still an active club with a loyal following. from their own website: http://www.begbies-traynor.com/corporate_rescue_&_recovery/223
  22. And cabin boys?
  23. But don't BT specialise in football clubs? Although I'm sure PWC and Deloittes have sports specialists.
  24. However, there's no 'r' in May.
