Worth a bit then

Point taken (and Steve's above yours). That makes me feel happier.

Why? The Administrator is ONLY concerned with getting an acceptable deal for the creditors. It would be no skin off his nose if the new lot took over and then went bust in a fortnight.
-
It does point out that the players were also told they wouldn't get paid for May.

Maybe now he'll finally realise he's really not cut out for this sort of thing.

Uh oh From 606: comment by St_chris91 (U13904210) posted 2 Minutes Ago By the way Roger Salvetti's company sponsors Portmouth FC so this rumour is a load of rubbish/wind up In connection with the post from Paris: From BBC606 >> Baloise Holding is a Swiss insurance holding company. It employs over 7000 employees across europe. It generates just under 10 billion pounds worth of revenue and its average profit margin is just under 1 billion pounds. Martin Strobel the CEO expressed an interest into domestic football but was recommended to look abroad to foregin leagues for the best potential. Although the company is capable of funding a premier league club the CFO, German Egloff , was introduced to the football league and regarded clubs such as Saints, Coventry and Derby as having the right set-up to produce a reasonable amount of profit year after year without requiring millions of pounds to be pumped into the club. So Martin Strobel gave the green light along with the rest of the board to declare an interest in saints now that the right opportunity has arisen. Roger Salvetti, the UK embassador for Baloise, has formed a team of British legal personnel to work alongside their own accountants in order to enter negotiations with Mark Fry and produce a good deal. Roger Salvetti considers Southampton, as well as much of the South Coast, to have the best financial district outside of London due to its history and the companies already based there. So, it seems we could well be under Swiss protection very soon!!

They obviously edited the interview for the bit on just now. He didn't mention RL or the radio station. His comments were limited to (and I paraphrase) - we're in desperate need of a takeover and we wouldn't be here now if Leon hadn't pitched in to keep us going for the past 2 months.

According to the tales about Pompey - it could take until July!

I've just listened to him on SSN and I can't see that he's said anything wrong. He's simply said it as it is IMO.

Anyone else making awful Swiss puns will have to SKIdaddle off. Geddit?

Oh That's the bloke I was thinking of!

I watched that too. It was very sad when he said he wanted to get married and have children but that he realised that was very unlikely. I thought he was inspirational and it was good to see a sympathetic take on the condition instead of the sensationalist stuff usually seen. I believe there's a very talented piano player who is symptom free when he's playing (a bit like the younger lad with his drums).

And there was chat last week / month / whenever about someone called 'Justin Double-Barrelled' who was something to do with Gloucester, wasn't there?

It's one short step from 'Black and Gold' to 'Black and Tan'. This takes us full circle to the Irish question.

I think there's been a test case recently (or one is coming up) to challenge a restaurant owner who INCLUDED tips when reckoning up the minimum wage. Can't be bothered to research it.
