Phew! I'd been planning to go to Leicester again today but changed my mind. Mainly because the back roads were like skating rinks again this morning. Someone had the nerve to overtake Mr TF at 6am this morning when he was on his way to work. He was slightly amused to see said car in the hedge a couple of miles later. (The driver was OK BTW)

I was about to post along these lines but you've said it so much better than I could. The denial of freedom of expression is one step along the road to fascism IMO.

I'm a supporter of freedom of speech even though there's lots of speech I don't like. Banning free expression of thought could be the first step on a dangerous road IMO.
