  1. Oh lordy, lordy It WAS about 5 years ago (and now I think about it, I don't think we used Easycar anyway - I may be getting confused with Eurocar or something similar LOL) I don't think I've flown anywhere in since then (for holidays that is - I did have to fly to Sarajevo about 2 years ago for work reasons). We always go by train these days. Am I forgiven, oh master of the universe?
  2. Way hay - on the nose, brother
  3. Yep - we had the same problem with them at Malaga
  4. How much will spectators be charged? I'd love to slink along to see if you all match up to the preconceptions I have
  5. If I could just sort my legs out, my strike rate might improve
  6. And don't forget that the Luvvies would be mincing around and likely to get easily hurt. So a medical team would be required too.
  7. I think this is a very good idea. But a 'spokesman' would be needed to explain the thinking behind the exercise. Otherwise, it will be hi-jacked by those with other agendae. There must be someone ideally suited to be that spokesman - someone who can hold their own with the media and explain things succinctly?
  8. Stewards not included, I notice  Surely they'll be needed
  9. Tonight - zilch Sat - decorating kitchen a.m. - Adams Park p.m. Sun - decorating dining room then go to daughter's to stay, ready for.... Mon - looking after my granddaughter and visiting my new grandson Tues - office for a rest
  10. You're just too darned quick for me, Frank
  11. I see what you did there
  12. He's got a nice derriere
  13. I don't know - do you? If you have tits, then eugghhhh, and I wouldn't be jealous of yours - and if you don't have tits then why should I be jealous of yours when I have a perfectly fine pair of my own  Back to pork haslet......
  14. I expect you have them already TBH
  15. Could it be Repetitive Strain Injury then? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Repetitive_strain_injury Or tendonitis http://orthopedics.about.com/cs/sportsmedicine/a/tendonitis.htm
  16. :smt019 (my fingers were crossed behind my back - so there)
  17. Don't people who operate pneumatic road drills suffer from that too?
  18. Oh I see - and yet you've turned out to be such a nice boy xx
  19. That's not a very nice thing to say about your mother, now.
  20. Silly little boy Has to resort to playground retorts [-X
  21. Doh, I didn't put the 'tongue in cheek' smiley thingy in, did I. I was tying it in to the comment about the mistaken notion of the NI paying for the NHS on the healthcare thread. I don't look down on anyone, and certainly I don't look down on people on benefits. I didn't actually say that I was 'looking down on you for [obviously not really] being on benefits', now did I? However, I don't have time for cheats and fraudsters, and that could include companies and people who take advantage of people by selling sub-standard products. I'm sorry you've chosen to turn a light-hearted thread into something else but then you do tend to argue for argument's sake, don't you
  22. Bloody hell, that would sting a bit! A goitre is a thyroid swelling, in the neck.
  23. You reckon? My understanding of that saying is a bit different
  24. I'm not THAT old a wife StL [-X Years ago my daughter had a ganglion on her wrist. We had to wait months for an orthopaedic consultation and, whilst we were waiting, a few people told us of this 'cure'. My daughter wouldn't let me do it though (not that I have ever kept a bible in the house anyway). Eventually her Outpatient appointment arrived but, miraculously, the ganglion disappeared a couple of days before, so we cancelled and the ganglion never reappeared! I still reckon she found a bible somewhere herself.......
