What are your favourite colours / flavours, Hatch? Mine are the red ones and the black ones (Rowntrees brand, of course).

Is that wise? Are you sure it will be real chicken you're eating?

I believe some of you guys went there. Since we don't have a Southampton City Forum where news headlines are posted, I guess this forum is the place for this article: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/hampshire/7939247.stm

So Beckham wants to buy a British Football Club?

I read last week that the wallets are all fleeing Dubai because they're losing £thousands every week on their properties. They're all just abandoning their Ferraris with the key in the ignition too! No doubt Phil will tell us this just ain't so -
Maybe it was just a Momentary Lapse of Reason :smt102

Which Division Bell will ring for us (and them) I wonder?

Nothing about us at all (apart from a mention at the beginning about how we, and P****y will be in the mire if we get relegated). It was all about Weymouth.

Which is exactly what the 'protesters' were doing - exercising their own opinions. -

Yep you're right Stu - I haven't been there. The Irish question was part of my A level History studies so I've only got an 'academic' opinion, not a practical one. However, given the history, I can understand, although not condone, the actions of Republicans in spitting at representatives of those they consider to be the oppressors and perpetrators of crimes in the past. So I can well understand your bias (especially the boobies bit) -

Absolutely - you know I do. I just wondered how much factual information is given to serving troops before they are posted to various trouble spots. You know - about what might, just might, have led to the problems in the first place. -

S0 - before you went over 'there' to police 'them', did your masters not tell you about the history that led to the troubles? -

Has it been proven that ALL the demonstrators were Muslim? Reports I heard suggested that there were a number of 'anti-war' demonstrators, not that they were all Muslim. I have protested against the Iraq invasion in the past and I'm glad I live in a country where it's my democratic right to do so. I was always taught that our armed forces protected that right. -

I preferred the Match thread, Steve. Twitter took an age to refresh I found. -

There's a boat that goes from Torquay to South Africa? I suppose you can keep each other company, though.
