Apparently they gave out loads of free tickets. Imagine they included that in the attendance figure, despite the fact that most of them with freebies didn't turn up. There was 5-6,000 there yesterday and that included us, IMO.
-
Hopefully we can sell this out. 3k to Cov, just under 3k for Leicester and 1,800 for Cov in the cup. It would appear our fans have finally found where the Midlands are...
-
Very impressive following from us. We took more in the cup there than 90% of the other teams who have been there in the league did. Not forgetting the fact we took over 3,000 there in the league.

Let's stop mucking around and whack in a serious bid for Rhodes and sit back and watch him fire us to the Prem. This management malarkey is pretty simple...
-
Good riddance. Always thought he was a bit of a kn0b.
-
It was only a double save as he had spilled the original shot, which he should've easily collected.

Nice work. See you Saturday then mate. -
Totally agree. Though I think we should go with Bart in goal and hope that gives him a bit of confidence back, whilst giving Davis a bit of a wake-up call after his performances in the last 2 games.

The most important thing here though is that they all look like they do anal. My kind of girls.

Errrr... just buy your ticket now... problem solved.

Yes mate, on the rattler. How are you getting up? -
There are but apparently they have loads of stewards checking everyone's tickets before scanning them. You'll be alright with an Under 18 ticket.

He'll only go with his new football friends anyway. The student scumbag thinks he's too good for us these days. -
He had a simple tap in at the far post yesterday but managed to somehow put it over, so I doubt he's managed anything of note on target.

Will we pick up any points in Jan?
This Charming Man replied to This Charming Man's topic in The Saints
Not at all. I'm shocked at where we are at the moment but now we're here we need to capitalise on it. This is a tough league to get out of and we need to make the most of our current position. We're top of the league on merit and it would be a shame to balls it up now. -

We've taken 8 points from the last 24 available. That's terrible... -
We have a pretty tough run-in this month. We've already lost to Brighton, then have Forest away followed by two tough home games in the form of Cardiff and Leicester. Could it be possible we go pointless for the entire month? With Lambert missing 2 league games now (unless we draw at Cov) we will struggle up front unless a new signing is imminent. This isn't an over the top, knee jerk reaction because of yesterday, I've thought we've been pretty poor for about the last 7 games and have rode our luck on numerous occasion's recently. The transfer window will make or break our season. 3/4 good signings and the automatic promotion charge will be back on track.
-
He has a point though. At Doncaster when Lambert was injured, we didn't manage one single shot at goal, yesterday once he was gone we created very little and we really do miss his hold up play. He's by far our most important player and we look a very average side without him.

I am going and I'm hoping for a crowd under 4,000. -
Player of the 2011/12 season so far

No need for a poll. Lambert by miles. You'd have to be a moron not to agree. -
Only if he has a lack of ambition or doesn't back himself to cut it at a higher standard.

No way in a million years will we pay anywhere near to £5/6m for a player with 6 months left on his contract. We were reluctant to pay that in the summer. He's not even worth that anyway.
-
I've just worked it out as I'm bored at work and a bit of an attendances geek. Including cup games, our average away attendance this year is 2,231. Not too bad.
-
Any major German city will do you. Good beer and tons and tons of boozers to choose from.

All the media outlets referred to us as having 3,000 there. They could only manage 16,000 for their biggest game of the season... pathetic fans.
