  1. Who is he posting as at the moment?
  2. Yes. Gary Neville did a very good, in-depth piece on the lack of leadership and Premiership experience at the heart of Arsenal's defence the other week. Whilst obviously on a lower level, it bore a remarkable resemblance to our current problems.
  3. You're not very bright are you? When they were brought through, they were playing with other already established Premiership players. Over time, they have now become the established Premiership players so the likes of Oscar and Hazard are able to prosper and learn from them. As for Lampard being a bit part player, he's played in 11 games for Chelsea this season and has captained the England side twice this summer. Once again, ridiculous point.
  4. I'm sure he's devastated.
  5. I wouldn't worry too much. I think he's on his period. He's dishing them out left, right and centre.
  6. No. They were supposed to be here this season, en-mass to pack out the ground and make it all but impossible to obtain a ticket. Imagine they haven't turned up due to the poor weather this year and an unusually high amount of weddings/funerals/ family get together's and apparently there is a recession as well but that wasn't initially taken into consideration.
  7. Lampard, Cole, Cech, Terry, Torres. A truly ridiculous comparison.
  8. Didn't Messi get injured once? I swear they started him on the bench in a CL game this season as well. On that basis, I don't want us signing a player whose always injured and struggles to make the Barca team.
  9. Then whose fault is it? I say our defensive frailties are entirely his fault. He should've signed 2 quality, proven CB's and a 'keeper in the window. He didn't.
  10. Nobody else was in for Ramirez this summer. Spurs had a sniff around and the Liverpool interest was from when King Kenny was there. Inter and Roma were linked last season but not this year. Also, with us being well and truly embroiled in a relegation battle (yes it's early but we've all seen now our squad isn't up to it) it will be even harder to attract someone. Why come here for potentially 6 months Premiership football when no doubt more established Premiership clubs will be after them as well?
  11. LOL! You're right, we should only be looking to sign players good enough for Spurs. I wonder if that Moutinho fancies a move to us? Then again, is he better than what we've got? I doubt it.
  12. You forgot our news fans in Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Berkshire, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and Sussex.
  13. Obviously he would act as a back-up to the far superior defenders we already have. In fact, they're doing such a good job I don't know why we're being linked with a poor CB that has played Premier League football for one of the best sides in the countries in recent years and has represented England.
  14. This thread is all well and good but it will be the same as usual. Three stands will sit in complete silence as per usual and the Northam will sing a few poorly sung versions of OWTS which will then be drowned out by Spurs who sing it louder and better than us.
  15. I've never seen a player spend more time sprawled out on the floor than Carroll. Every time he went up for a header, he just threw himself on the ground and the ref gave a freekick. Makes me laugh what Lambert has to put up with every week without any help from the ref and that long haired mincer get's a free kick every time someone dares to go near him.
  16. Can we all sing "No respect my lord" at Spurs fans when they don't join in with something they have no idea about?
  17. The fact he has travelled from the West Country for a Friday night televised game would suggest he is. The fact after celebrating on the pitch (nothing wrong with that) he attacked Kirkland would also suggest he's a moron.
  18. Other than we looked a worse side after those subs were made, lost all the momentum we had in the game and sat back and invited pressure? You're right, there's no evidence at all that they cost us. Jos has been a disaster zone at the back this season. He shouldn't even be on the bench, though due to poor defensive signings in the summer, he's actually starting games! Therefore you could argue that some of the individual errors can be blamed on NA.
  19. His subs in the Man Utd and Fulham games cost us and lack of decent defensive signings have been our single biggest downfall this season.
  20. He's a proven, quality CB. There is no way we would be interested in him based on that criteria.
  21. Mine wasn't supposed to be a "I told you so" post. Those who were harping on about how our young squad was going to storm the Premiership know how wrong they were now and don't need that pointing out to them.
  22. We have to give him a fair chance but I can't see him being given much longer - Cortese spent big in the summer and relegation would be a complete and utter disaster for us financially. Carry on like this and I reckon he'll be gone come December. So far his decision making has been bizarre to say the least. You can't even start to imagine what he was thinking when selecting some of the teams and the subs he's made have left me scratching my head on a regular basis. We're currently paying the price for not signing any decent PROVEN defenders and a decent 'keeper in the summer.
  23. I spent all summer saying it and was repeatedly told I haven't got a clue what I'm on about and to just shut up and get behind the team. I don't come on here that often any more as the delusional little bubble that the vast majority on here live in is quite frankly staggering. Only now the penny seems to have dropped for some on here. West Ham are a very ordinary Premiership side but they tore us to pieces on Saturday, that's because they have the right kind of player - strong and experienced Premiership players. Then again, I was told that's not what we need and was laughed at and ridiculed for suggesting such a preposterous idea.
  24. Are we still talking about the biggest waste of money or just listing rubbish players we've had over the years?
  25. Both are on the Yanks payroll so they're not worth worrying about and there is no way America would ever let the Taliban into power in Pakistan. Iran are the main threat at the moment as they are one of the genuine rogue states. China would never let N. Korea misbehave as it would destabilize a region they're pouring billions into.
