I find it bizarre, that despite the rumours, there's still no suggestion that some signings are actually on the way. We've got Ryan Dickson's week long medical and Calderon's month long talks but, these snippets aside, precious little actual evidence that we've even started trying to bring players in. Nothing even from AP on the OS to say he's back from holiday, planning for the new season and has identified his targets. I know I'm being impatient but it would be good to be given an indication that we were actively doing something. [Note to club - a video montage of past signings is not required to indicate that something is about to occur!]

Interesting that there hasn't been a massive bunfight over those we let go.

Also, I hope they implement the tougher sanctions before the Skates try to exit admin so they can have the privilege of being the first team punished.

Might explain why we've not confirmed any signings yet. See what rules are ratified, identify the players who fit the criteria and then spend like money's going out of fashion. (Please?)

I think the first signing we should make is Bournemouth's chief exec. Six signings in 2 days??? That guy must be in meeting overload.

God, still no news?! We're certainly being thorough with this medical. If we'd done this with Delgado someone might even have noticed his dodgy knee...

i understand saints have given up on calderon.. agent changing his mind every two minutes... i reckon he will be in blue and white come next season. Comment picked up from the comments section of the local Brighton paper's website, the Argus. Probably about as reliable as the comments posted on the Echo website but worth a mention, nonetheless, and may be the reason we've heard nothing further about him signing.

Bury's Stephen Dawson, mentioned earlier in this thread, is to join Leyton Orient, according to Sky. One missed, I fear...?

Excellent! Concerned that Norwich are competing to sign him from a higher division but if Markus waves enough bunce in his direction, and promises a proper crack at promotion, it might be enough to keep him in League 1.

Harding is only 26, so only approaching his peak. Nonetheless, Dickson would appear to be a welcome addition.

I imagine, if there is to be a signing tomorrow, it would be Calderon. If he wasn't coming to SMS, I'm sure news of a move elsewhere would've leaked out by now, as it's been a few weeks since we were first linked. On the Brighton front, I think it's an innovative approach by AP. Save on the cost of scouts by stealing other managers' targets. Genius.
