Agree on Bree -
Sulemana done He's started twice in the league this season! Hope I'm wrong, but seems like a crazy decision.
-
Almost like joining a club rock bottom of the league is not an attractive proposition. Too little, too late from SR.
-
Then the board are useless and out of their depth. But I think we knew that already.
-
Wow, can't believe that wasn't upgraded to a red.
-
Probably will after VAR, no?
-
Don't see how this Sulemana makes sense on any level. If you're going to panic buy, at least make it in the right position ffs!
-
Swapping a Champions League fight for relegation strugglers, I can't see it. Especially as he's already been through that with Fulham.
-
I'm going to want to see blood if we go down, and I think it should be Rasmus. But how does that work with someone so involved in the decision-making having a stake in the club? ABK and Lavia (maybe DCC) the only signings to come out of the summer with any promise. They've failed in the three most important areas - manager, GK, and ST. Aribo was a complete waste of cash, Larios ditto. Edozie just isn't remotely ready to start at this level. The signings we've made (outside of ABK) have been a clear downgrade on what we already had. Off the pitch, it's been arguably even worse. Waiting for an upturn in results to do a PR puff piece with a friendly journalist, treating fans like customers/cattle, etc. Semmens may well be the fall guy, and I don't disagree with him going - but the buck can't stop there.
-
It means that with the quality and location of shots he's faced this season, he should have conceded only 23 goals, but he's actually let in 32. It doesn't factor in our defending, just whether or not an average keeper should be saving a shot.
-
I saw that. Nothing a well placed hand grenade wouldn't have sorted. Wankers.
-
He looked like a nervous wreck every time he had the ball at his feet last night. Horrible to watch.

Southampton 0-1 Newcastle League Cup Semi Final 1st Leg

I've always criticised Perraud for being incredibly unfit. He always looks spent inside 20 minutes, and as already mentioned, he can't get back into shape fast enough - something we can't afford when playing a four. -

If Saint-Maximin plays in the second leg, we're fucked. -
Jimmy Jay Morgan not to sign a pro contract at club!

Awful news, but we can't afford to throw him in right now I guess. It'll be interesting to see what SR do about it, as it seems to fly in the face of everything they're about. They'll probably pay £10m for the City equivalent. -
It was straight at him, and it wasn't the first this season. Open your eyes
-
He is quite easily the worst ever (starting) Premier League goalkeeper. He doesn't save a thing, his feet are all over the place, he doesn't claim anything. He's arse.
-
It's FBRef, free
-
He is probably the most injury prone player in the Premier League
-
Do people actually watch the Premier League? Ings has started only 8 league games, six goals. He'd walk into our team right now, and he's the best readily-available option in this window. How is it even a question?
-
Why Rasmus?
-
Villa sign a striker, no idea if he's first-team ready but seems to be highly rated

Club take a positive step to eliminate away fans in the home end -
Credit to NJ for the last week. I was at the Everton game and it has been a while since we've come back and ground out a win like that. It will be interesting long-term to see how we line up in midfield. Alcaraz seems to play in Prowsey's role, but would be a shame to have to move JWP back. I still think Diallo is a complete liability on the ball, so can't see his place lasting forever. Would be nice to have a new striker to lean on for this game, but realistically I think it will go down to the deadline.
