  1. So is Selles still the messiah after a single win, deserving of taking the team til the end of the season? What a mess
  2. I really miss the days when Cortese sold the Saints project, the vision etc. Now we are supposed to be grateful for a failed and hugely limited coach because we can't get anything better. I have honestly lost all faith in the club now. I just don't have the energy to care any more.
  3. So you remember that Ralph was absolutely awful but you blame fans that SR replaced him with a coach we all knew was awful? I don't understand your point other than desperately trying ( and failing) to appear smug. I wouldn't want Ralph back. I wouldn't want Puel, Pelligrino or any of the utterly inept managers we have had since Koeman and Poch left.
  4. Because Ralph was better ? No Ralph was equally inept. Zero shots on target happened with him as well. I get you obviously have a thing for him but try not to rewrite history.
  5. Could you list the teams that would happily loan extremely effective strikers in January to a relegation rival please.
  6. I see it claimed that Ralph was a good manager but there is never any evidence to back it up.
  7. Ralph had to go. He should have been sacked a year earlier. Its Sport Republics responsibility to replace him with a quality replacement though.
  8. Lower expectations maybe?
  9. There has been leaks about Ralph for a while even ignoring his utter ineptitude at coaching etc. Why slag off Redmond over it?
  10. Defensively in terms of players we are great. Organisationally we are a shit show. That's down to Ralph
  11. But they wouldn't be his players
  12. Well it could be argued that destroying a club through ineptitude would be the opposite of loyal. Your obsession with Ralph is amusing though.
  13. I don't think different strikers would improve our game if Ralph continues to play like this. The midfield was blatantly too weak, it was never going to work and put added pressure on our defence. Ralph as usual believed his own hype after a few relatively improved results. Nothing changes as long as Ralph remains at the club
  14. I still remember various posters claiming Carillo's non scoring ability was amazing some how. I never figured out why
  15. Well Ralph did something that Ralph hasn't done in his time with us. Something we have all been screaming at him to do. You honestly think he came up with this on his own ? Seriously?
  16. Many would disagree. If it was his own decision then why wait so long ? More likely it was forced on him by his assistant coaches. Ralph isn't known for making timely decisions.
  17. So in your opinion Ralph told the team to play painfully slow and turgid football for 70 minutes and then switch it on for the last 20 minutes once we were 2 nil down and the fans demoralised?
  18. Seeing as play instantly sped up once Ralph's tactics were removed from the game its obvious our painfully slow build up is coached into the team. Armstrong instantly got the type of ball he craves and created the opportunity. The new players played their way rather than Ralph's and we became dangerous. Saints media are trying to spin this as a positive for Ralph but to me it shows why he has to go. He is and always was the problem.
  19. This is garbage and you know it. Its not entitled to want a failed coach to play players in their best positions, to make logical substitutions, to choose a formation and tactics to suit each team we play.
  20. You have a history of adoring managers who others hated though.
  21. Surely a decent coach chooses a formation and tactics based on the players he has at his disposal? It never ceases to amaze me how some fans bend over backwards to avoid placing blame on Ralph .
  22. The most surprising thing about the game is how many fans thought Ralph would suddenly become a competent coach after 3 years of being hopeless. Slow, predictable , unable to defend or threaten.
  23. While your point is fair about incoming players, I always had faith in Koemans ability to improve inexperienced players. I don't have any faith in Ralph whatsoever.
  24. Well Tino, Salisu, Stu Armstrong and Romeu all went backwards this season. JWP also reverted back to his sideways and backwards football. Broja went backwards, Redmond is Redmond. Who has Ralph improved exactly?
  25. I think this is the season we go down. Ralph hasn't learnt anything in his time with us and other teams have worked him out already. Potentially better players may improve us temporarily until Ralph ruins them. Hopefully the board move quickly so the team can recover in time.
