In Bracknell we currently have torrential rain, which is just lying on top of the compacted snow and ice. The other half is at work in Crowthorne, a couple of miles away and he says there is thunder, lightening and its snowing. Well I guess thats global warming for you!

well after 6 hours he got home, having abandon the car at the pub car park and walking home. Got back about 10pm... and yes he was sober, probably due to the fact that he had no money on him!

The snow was just starting to cause problems at this point My boyfriend has not got any further that just outside Bracknell. He is now in a pub waiting for things to improve.

My fella left Theale at about 3.30pm an last heard he was not far from the twin bridges in bracknell about 30 mins ok. apparently police are advising not to drive down part of the 329 from the wokingham junction to the next roundabout because you probably wont make it. Him being scottish did and made it, along with about 4 other cars. He also stopped to help a young girl who was stuck. Offered her a lift as far as he could, but she refused as she didnt want to abandon her car. Hope your brother makes it to Farnborough safely.

I take it you are at home then. I am in Bracknell and its horrendous ou there. Cars apparently are coming off the M4 and A329m. My boyfriend is on there somewhere trying to get home from Theale.
