    Death

I have had to deal with 2 deaths this year, one was a very close friend of ours who had a heart attack at 49. The other was my cousins baby who was still born at 41 and a half weeks. The second was definately alot harder to deal with. Both deaths were a reminder of how precious life really is.
  2. Yes 2-2 Brighton
  3. RIP Dean One of the best defenders that played in red and white 36 is no age
  4. So proud tonight just think what we could have done with Lallana and hammond should make for an interesting end to he season if we continue to play like that
  5. My initial reaction ... its do-able
  6. Once you get out of the cities, like Glasgow, it is a beautiful country. I travel up there 2 or 3 times a year to visit my bf's family. They live in the western highlands, on the shores of Loch Fyne. Beautifully place, and you can still leave all your doors and windows open when you go out as there is only one road in and out. Pluses: beautifully countryside, clean air, very laid back attitude, pace of life is slower minuses: Weather can be awful, best time of the year is late May early June. In the villages every one knows everyone elses business - they have nothing else to talk about! That said, I myself am contemplating moving up in the next 6 years, when the other half retires, so cant be that bad

  8. yesssssssss just logged on and we scored woot
  9. Excellent result .. least one half of my house is a happy one tonight! Oxo sounds amazing, one we definately need to keep hold of
  10. Not in my house.. have one very unhappy gers fan sat next to me
  11. stunned..shocked.. speechless. I knew that AP needed to get the resuts, but to win 4-0 and then sack... strange... unless it is as some have said just delayed from Plymouth. IMO bad bad timing. I hope that NC has a decent manager lined up... otherwise... I dread to think. Oh well back to the rollercoaster that is Southampton FC, thought I was expecting too much to be able to enjoy watching my football team with no dramas this season... why oh why cant I support a normal team
  12. Cup win 76 - Was only 4 so dont remember it. Although my 1st memory of the saints was them bringing the cup home. Keegan signed - Again too young to remember Saints put the sixth past Man Utd when Egil scored- Upper West Stand Milton Road End. Went on holiday to Turkey straight after the game, boarded the plane and ended up sat next to a very unhappy Man Utd fan! St Marcus passes away - Just walked in as my mum phoned to ask if I had seen the news. I thought she was kidding :-( One special moment for you - So many memories, from the Cardiff Final. Matt's last goal at The Dell, the JPT Final, hearing that we finally had a buyer and the saints lived on, beating Liverpool 4-1, the change of shirts by Utd at half time because they couldnt see each other against the fans! The 2003 semi-final.. the list is endless. The worst day as a saints supporter was, again on holiday in Turkey, and finding out that we had been relegated from the Premiership. Although I did find a fellow saints fan, proudly wearing their shirt that evening in a local resturant.
  13. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this thread. I was not able to go, but feel like I was there. It sounds like it was a moving but fitting service. The watch story brought a tear to my eye, and just shows the friendship that Markus and Nicola had, and in my mind the faith he has in us to succeed this season. RIP Markus
  14. Just watched it and it brought a tear to my eye. I never thought I would feel like this about someone that I didnt know personally. I guess it just proves what it meant the day he saved our club. Once again.. Thank you Markus. RIP. Heaven has another Saint
  15. Absolutely shocked. Thank you for everything you did in your short time with us Will never forget that enormous smile at Wembley when we lifted the cup My thoughts are with your family and friends at this sad time RIP Markus Forever a saint
  16. Just been announced all airports open from 10pm tonight... About time
  17. Its about time. All the talk has been about the people stuck in europe but nothing is being done about the thousands like you, mini me and my family who are stuck further afield.
  18. My sister has now updated me and the earliest bookable flight from Florida is Sunday 25th April!!! As much as she enjoyed her holiday she really just wants to come home. Although she is still at the same villa it is costing her everday. They have managed to secure a good rate on the hire car, but again it all adds up. Plus they have 2 dogs and a cat in kennels. (I think I maybe going to get the cat to help her out). Her car is parked at a hotel another £5 per day. So the cost of the extended holiday is going to be enormous, and like most people has not been budgeted for.
  19. My sister was due to fly back from Orlando via Charlotte tonight.. Have been told that they will have to stay in Florida and will be at least 5 days before they have a hope of getting home.
  20. great result but deflated after the Huddersfield result.
  21. It should be 3 points and £60 fine. The awareness course will only be offered if they think that it was a minor offence. My boyfriend was caught last year doing 57 in a 40 and just got an fixed penalty. (I know he was very lucky)
  22. Just got back to Bracknell. Fantastic day out. Cant describe how I am feeling. Well done lads
  23. had about 3 hours sleep. leaving in about 45mins.. COYR
