Early second half goal needed if we're going to win this one. COYY!
-
haha. Great OG too!

A goal from nowhere! Get in.
-
That's possibly our problem; we've got that game on our minds maybe? I'll be glad when it's done & dusted and we can get back to concentrating on climbing the friggin' league.

Will check in a while & see. The snapper might have nodded-off himself tho...
-
Wakey wakey Saints. I'm in danger of nodding-off here...

Indeed. And a few parts of Malta look like the Luftwaffe had just paid them a visit the day before rather than 60-odd years ago! But that's why I love the place. It's 'honest' - and doesn't pretend to be something it's not. The people are very proud & friendly and everyone I met went out of their way for you. As well as old British connections - It's got a good sprinkling of Italian & North African influence (especially restaurant-wise) and I loved my day visit to the WWII museum/caves that the inhabitants sheltered in during the war. Marvellous!

Jammy bugger! Went there year before last & had a fab time. Hired a car for the whole duration & took it across to Gozo for the day. Wonderful island. Boat trips a-plenty. I love the mix in Malta of old & new - the buildings, etc. My old man was stationed there in the RN many years ago I was born there in the military hospital at Mtarfa. I therefore have a Maltese and a British birth certificates. Not sure why I am therefore living here in the UK?!?!

Malta for me & the missus. Love the place - the people - and the sun!

Band Of Brothers - British miniseries version, ideas?

I love BoB - THE best series ever made for telly - bar none. I must watch it 2 or 3 times each & every year without fail. Never get bored of it even though I know what's going to happen! I'm hoping the Pacific follow-up is as good. I believe it gets released next month (March) in the US so should follow soon after here. -
Someone on the UI has just driven past St Mary's and there are 6 people bedding down for the night. Now that's dedication!

After Wayne Bridge refused to play for England while John Terry remains captain, fans are now urging JT to try it on with Emile Heskey's wife. John Terry has been lined up to star in a new ITV drama. It's called Other Footballers' Wives. Poor Wayne Bridge - he's not even first choice with his wife.

Followed by bicycles & horseriders (each to be shot when caught on the roads); Learner drivers (should be limited to 7pm - 10pm weekdays); all Nissan Micra/Honda Jazz/Rover drivers; females should be banned - end of; and raise the minimum driving age to 25. Doubly sorted!

One of the proposals is to prohibit HGVs between 3.5 and 7.5 tonnes from using the right hand lane of motorways with three or more lanes. The ban would also extend to all buses, minibuses and coaches with more than eight passenger seats. http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/AllCars/247278/ About time too! I think that would work well personally.

He's sitting in the Itchen just behind the player's dug-outs for the game. As pay-back - I'm going to find him & inform the stewards that he's a Pompey season ticket holder. That will serve the little s*@t right!
-
lol - obviously no! Anyway - I haven't even got mine yet & will be queuing with the rest of the masses on thursday morning. Thanks son. Don't worry about your poor old dad like...
-
My lad got his ticket today courtesy of a certain Saints midfielder! It's who you know lads...

Old school me. You still can't beat COD United Offensive online - the original & still the best online WWII out there!

Exactly Badger. Saga Syndrome.

Danns is your typical modern day footballer. He will wait until a few minutes until the transfer deadline runs out...see if any other better offers come in...and then put pen-to-paper. Call me cynical, but...
-
So - according to Solent (who had a reporter at Palace's post-match press meeting) - we have offered £600,000 for Danns & Palace are mulling over the offer over the weekend. Neil Warnock (when questioned about the offer) just shrugged his shoulders & said a move to Southampton would be "a step backwards" for Danns - presumably as we're L1?

Danns scored both of Palace's goals today in their 2-0 win over Peterborough.
