  2. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL Rickie Lambert you BEAUTY!
  3. Never mind. If they're knocked out - they can concentrate on the...er...administation!
  4. First goalscorer everyone: I'm going for Waigo.
  5. I know he's young - and learning all the time - but if he could just add more composure to his game - he'd be bloody handy to have on a permanent basis.
  6. New Year - but same old problems. Spiderman can't score for love nor money. Antonio has all the pace in the world...but nothing else to his game. Dodgy rearguard.
  7. Will he ever break his duck?
  8. Click on any link that says 'Media Player'. http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=60293&part=sports
  9. I'm sure Pards will rectify that during January - not that it's a help today.
  10. Good grief. My 3-0 prediction nearly went out the window. Come on Saints.
  11. I...er...found it by accident your honour. *cough
  12. 'Borrowed' from a porn forum believe it or not!
  13. I lent al-faraj £1.50 to phone the samaritans
  14. Well it looks like he's almost certainly going. Question is - where?: The transfer window reopens on Friday and Gills boss Mark Stimson is expecting offers for leading striker Simeon Jackson. The Canadian has netted 13 times this season for the Gills and, at just 22, is seen by many as a star of the future. Stimson believes only a limited number of clubs will be in the hunt but is prepared for the worst. "If he goes we’ll be devastated but we will have to get on with it," he said. "Gillingham will survive a lot longer than Simeon Jackson and Mark Stimson. "If it happens they have to come through the right way and ask the chairman. If the chairman says a figure and they are prepared to pay it, then every player has his price. "We don’t want to lose him because he’s a goalscorer but in the last couple of games he’s probably been off that. "He had a couple of chances against Exeter where probably two months ago he would have scored but when there is a lot of speculation around you, sometimes it can maybe put you off. "I would be surprised if teams don’t make an offer because the kid has the ability to go to the next level. There are probably only a certain amount of clubs who will and if you look at those clubs there are only a certain amount who can afford it – you are looking at three or four teams. "If he doesn’t go, he just has to keep his head down like he has done since the day he came here, work hard and score goals and one day he will play at least Championship football." http://www.kentonline.co.uk/kentonline/sport/2009/december/31/simeon_jackson.aspx
  15. Can someone explain why Poopey would get a NINE point deduction for going into admin - instead of the 10 points?!?!
  16. If Pards is hoping to get promoted - I'd assume (in the event that we did get promotion) we'd keep the bulk of this current squad in the CCC next season. Pericard has proved that he's a L1 player & is totally out of his depth at CCC level. He was pants for us - so leave well alone I reckon. There are better options out there.
  17. Maybe for you...and others. Personally - I hope they do sink without a trace. Didn't see very much sympathy from them when the shoe was on the other foot a short while ago - quite the opposite infact. Then again...maybe it's the fact that I actually live amongst them that gets my goat! I hear it all - day in - day out - day in - day out...
  18. *cough Yeah I...er...knew that really...
  19. With some very important matches coming up in the next few weeks - I notice that several of our (more) important players are walking a fine line as regards yellow cards. According to the OS - Dan Harding, Radhi Jaidi, Dean Hammond, Morgan Spiderman & Lloyd James all have four yellow cards to their name. Luckily - none of them picked up a yellow yesterday at Colchester - but it is a slight worry that so many of our 'key' performers are just one yellow away from a ban. No doubt Pards is well aware of it all...
  20. I am 100% positive that Pardew has a very capable CB lined up in the 'January sales'.
  21. Okay then: I thought he was MotM against Exeter! And not only for his goal & the assist for our second - but his all-round game was excellent on saturday. I know he gets grief for his short-comings, etc - but credit where credit is due. He earned his place in today's starting line-up. We lost today and suddenly it's 'find a scapegoat' time. Well it isn't Lloyd James - as the fans at the game will verify.
  22. He (James) was MotM against Exeter! Therefore - hardly surprising he was an automatic selection for today's game.
