  1. We are cr4p up front - in the middle - at the back and (today) in goal. Apart from that - life is good!
  2. Naaaaaarwich 2 Donny 1
  3. Naaaaaarwich equalise 1-1
  4. Donny 1-0 up at Naaaaarwich. FFS.
  5. We are dreadful up front/going forward today - truly dreadful. Their keeper is on loan & I can't remember us having troubled him once. Truly abysmal & not good enough. How low have we sunk? *sigh
  6. 0-3 now
  7. That's it - game over. And on we move to the next game...
  8. We are the footballing equivalent of watching paint dry...
  9. Lloyd James sounds like he's having a nightmare game...and now he's just been booked. I sense a red card for James this afternoon...
  10. I'm praying to god that Spurts do! Now that would be funny...
  11. Couldn't have happened to a bigger, lying tosser. Chuffed to bits Dowie's been sacked - the utter ****. Unfortunately - he'll be offered a job within hours somewhere else. Oh well...
  12. I'm reading an interesting book at the moment called The History of Glue. I can't put it down...
  13. Same here Mike. I was really chuffed to bits when Jan arrived - and thought that..."yeah - a team of hungry, eager youngsters - good attacking flowing football - a very promising season ahead" was how it would pan out. But - alas - for some strange reason, Jan appears to have totally overlooked a major part of what's been plaguing us for years - the defence. He doesn't seem capable of any organisation at the back whatsoever & sends the same rearguard out each & every game - or just about. Take today for example: why was Perry on the bench? We needed that guy today at the back. I know we're missing Killer (and I know he's not the Killer of old) - so Perry would have been ideal to slot in at the back & give the kids some encouragement & help. Defensive-wise - I think Jan is really out of his depth - big time. And I know we're skint...but surely if we can keep adding midfield loanees like we do - we can find a couple of defensive players??? Sure - we lost today & missing both penalties didn't help. It's not just losing today that has made my belief in Jan plummet either. He's a great guy - a breath of fresh air at the club with no money whatsoever to spend - and I feel for him. But it just isn't working. Schoolboy defending, wrong formations, wrong team selections, substitutions too late to make any difference - the list is growing each game. Shame. A great bloke with energy, passion & new ideas...which are failing miserably.
  14. Ipswich 2 Swansea 2
  15. I think we're already into "post-mortem" mode...
  16. I reckon IF we get another penalty - Kelvin Davis ought to take it...
  17. 1-4 for me...and ours WON'T be from a penalty - obviously!
  18. Join the rest of us mate...
  19. Get McGoldrick off at HT Jan. The lad's confidence is shot. He missed the pen; missed the easy one-on-one with their keeper; was responsible for one of their goals. He's had it - shot away. Get someone else on up front - anyone. One of the stewards ffs. We've missed our last 3 penalties - and that's shocking. Totally unacceptable. I take it we don't do any practicing of them over at Staplewood? But the worst thing of all is our dreadful, dreadful defending...of which no-one seems to do anything about! Coventry/QPR all over again. Please - someone - do something about our rearguard...
  20. About right. Overlooked Saints starlet...now where have we heard that all before?
  21. Anyway - back to football. Just a reminder to anyone interested: Wales U21 v England U21 - Live Sky Sports 1 tonight. (KO: 7.45pm) 19:30pm - 22:00pm The opening leg of the U21 European Championship Play-Off between Wales and England at Ninian Park. A place in the finals in Sweden is up for grabs for one of the home nations. Lallana up against Lloyd James' Wales. Here's hoping Adam has a cracking game & good luck England! (No offence Lloyd)
  22. My glass is half full - not half empty!
  23. On this day (October 6th) last season - we played West Brom at home. At the time - we were 2 points above the relegation zone. October 6th this year - we're 3 points above the drop zone. I call that progress!!!
  24. lol. Delldays in 'Mountains out of Molehills' shock...
  25. Spot on AP - and them there are the facts! Good post sir. For what it's worth; I really & truly enjoy JP being here. I like what he's trying to do. I know we're as likely to win one week...only to lose the next. I can live with that. We'll finish just below halfway somewhere - but the lads will have a whole season of experience under their belts for the following one. We have injuries to key players which doesn't help our cause. We have no money either. I was one of those calling for the youngsters when Burley was pizzing money away on has-been journeymen & couldn't-give-a-toss players who were only here to pick up their wages. Give me JP anyday - and the kids. What we don't need is yet another managerial change. We've had far too many of them. Spurs & Newcastle (the bottom 2 clubs in the Prem) prove that. I'm hanging on for the ride & looking forward to EXACTLY what I knew we'd get: a season of many ups & downs - wins & losses - but at least (finally) a bunch of youngsters that actually give a toss about the club, the shirt & the fans on the terraces. Schexy futbol indeed!
