  1. Really? I thought that would've been called an 'Alpy'!
  2. lol - in your mind perhaps. A draw & a point away from home in this division (to add to an already-decent away points haul thus far) is not bad going whichever way you look at it. Once again I will say; It's our HOME form that's been disasterous & which is the reason we are where we are - NOT our away form.
  3. Let's be honest...that's HONEST...for a moment. Who - this afternoon - would have taken a draw tonight? And then who - at half time & 2-0 down - would STILL have taken a draw tonight? I already know my answer. The fact that other sides around us picked up points is clouding the judgement of some. A draw away at Norwich is NOT a bad result in itself. It's the HOME games we have to start winning.
  4. 'ave it! ...and young McLaggon shoots... ...and scores!
  5. Well...after being 2-0 at HT - I am well chuffed that we managed to get a point out of the game. 4-5-1 first half; 4-4-2 second half. Wotte have you learned tonight Mark?
  6. Jan Paul Saeijs tonight...
  7. Wotte tonight at Carrow Road...
  8. I know - let's all tear our hair out bickering about who the f*@k signed the guy!!! *sigh
  9. lol - I'll buy young Dyer a pint next time I see him. hohoho - 2-0 now. lolololololol

  11. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4072864.Jan_hits_back_after_end_of_a__beautiful_adventure_/ JAN Poortvliet walked out of Saints tonight, after being overwhelmed by fan criticism, but described his time at the club as a “beautiful adventure.” The Dutchman said he had been stunned by the “negativity” from the crowd during last Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Doncaster at St Mary’s. “For me, it’s just the end of a beautiful adventure and hopefully in the future for me will come other things,” he said. Meanwhile... http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4072863.Wotte_s__mixed_feelings_/ MARK Wotte tonight told the Daily Echo he had mixed feelings about stepping into the role as Saints head coach. "It is mixed feelings for me. But the club is the most important thing right now. We have to do what’s best for the club, starting today from me."
  12. I Googled "Mark Wotte" under Google images...and got this!
  13. Yep. That was exactly his plan in my mind too. Many clubs in the CCC are finding it tough financially. There have been very few players moving to other clubs - despite two thirds of the window gone. I have no doubt we were gambling on the likes of Rudi, Surman, Lallana, whoever, - being sold to cover the bills. That hasn't happened (at least yet) - and I get the distinct feeling that should the transfer window close without any players exiting the door - we are indeed up poo creek without any paddle. A sad day indeed - but hardly unexpected in all honesty...is it?
  14. Poortvliet said: “I think it is a big, big defeat and it's hit us hard. “We came out second half and the intention was for the first ten minutes to put the pressure on but straight away we conceded a goal and that was a bit unlucky. “Then you are out of confidence and we had to find ourselves.” "Find ourselves" Jan? WTF are you on about? The only thing you need to find yourself is another job mate... http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4055713.Two_one___but_it_s_a_big_defeat_for_Saints/
  15. He's the worse thing to come out of Holland since that goddam awful rubbery cheese...
  16. 'Resident Evil 5' Xbox 360 demo dated Thursday, January 15 2009, 14:44 GMT By Mark Langshaw Capcom has announced that a demo version of Resident Evil 5 will be available to download for the Xbox 360 for one week from January 26. The demo will feature multiplayer support, with the Assembly Place and Shanty Town levels from the beginning of the game available to sample. There is no word on whether the demo will be available for the PlayStation 3, but rumours have suggested that a one-week run on Sony’s online storefront is a possibility after the Xbox 360 offer has expired. The full game retails on March 13 for both platforms.
  17. Probably because Norwich's next three actual games are Barnsley home; Southampton home; and Doncaster away. I would imagine the new boss (whoever that might be) will see that as a superb run of three consecutive fixtures - all winable. Unless you're a Saints fan of course...in which case the middle fixture is beyond them!
  18. It's superb. I was always a huge RE fan anyway - and this instalment is no different judging by the demo. I keep getting killed by the maniac with the chainsaw though. D'oh! Looking forward to the full game in mid-March. Happy days!
  19. downloaded - burnt to disc & playing nicely on my 360! Oh what fun! http://digiex.net/games-downloads/768-resident-evil-5-demo-download-xbox-360-a.html
  20. I still have an erection from the moment the final whistle went! Well done indeed to the lads & all those that made the grim trip north. Three very valuable points today - and the one in my pants of course! COYS!
  21. I've a good solution. All those who smoke and don't mind going without for a whole game can stay where they are. Those that would like a ciggy at HT should all sit in the Chapel End for example. One set of stewards to man the turnstiles at HT; the opposite end from the away fans too to prevent any 'trouble'. Minimum fuss. Maximum solution.
  22. lol. That's the attitude - just bend over and take it. No wonder the country's in such a mess.
  23. Eh? What part don't you understand? You go to the turnstile at HT where a steward rubber-stamps the back of your hand & lets you out for a ciggy.
  24. I went to the Indigo O2 at the Dome a fortnight ago to see The Who live. As smokers - me & my best mate had the back of our hands rubber-stamped & were allowed out the main entrance to have the odd ciggy in-between the support band and The Who - as did several others. The arrangement ran as smooth as anything with no problem whatsoever. The place was pretty hectic as Coldplay were in the main dome the same night - but never once was there a single problem or any confusion. Well done & congratulations to The Dome staff for a well-organised & executed arrangement. The Gestapo at SFC could do well to learn from them...
