  5. Good old Saints. A hard job made near-on impossible now...
  6. Our plan is to soak up BC pressure for 15/20 mins...and hit them on the break with the pace of McGoldrick...
  7. That's the spirit...
  8. Good to see young McLaggon on the bench though. There's no doubt that - at present - I don't think he's able to physically play 90 minutes - but he's a good option to bring on fresh with 25/30 mins to go.
  9. Well - that'll teach me to read the post in FULL next time! D'oh!
  10. If it is dead then eBay is a very good place to aquire another CRT monitor. Many people ditched their old bulky CRT's for flat screen monitors & if you look on there for pick-up only in the Bristol area - you'll be amazed at how cheap you can replace your faulty one. Again - a lot of people have now gone down the laptop route & have a cheap CRT (even TFT) monitor going spare. I've had several CRT's over the years that die and I've no idea to this day why. Anyone in the business of selling/fixing them will tell you it's not worth repairing it. Try eBay "pick-up only" in Bristol. My guess is you'll be pleasantly surprised!
  11. Bet it's Valeri Bojinov from Man City...
  12. Yeah. Possibly the most "atmospheric" & spooky game I've ever played. Mind you - that's exactly the sort of game I love playing! It's like going back several years in time to the PS1 and such great games as the original Silent Hill, Resident Evil 1 & 2 and even Alone in the Dark for the PC. All fabulous games & very eerie - and all right up my street. Funny - 'cos my favourite genre of movie is horror. There's a theme developing here somewhere... oo-er.
  13. Bioshock shouldn't be missed. Superb game.

  20. He's good in the air!
  21. *sigh And there was me thinking I'd post a footballing (Lowe/Wilde "who's-to-blame-for our-demise?")-free topic! Should have known better...
  22. Yep. My thought's exactly...
  23. Sat 7th - Watford (Away): It may be only early February but this coming Saturday's visit to Watford already is the proverbial six-pointer. Sitting immediately above us in the bottom three - Watford are just 2 points better off having played 1 game less. They've lost 5 of their last 7 CCC - the only victory in that sequence being a 3-0 win at home against Burnley last home game. This will be a tough game for Saints with both sides desperately needing a win. A draw is no good to either of us in reality & neither side can afford to lose - not this one. Sat 14th - Bristol City (Away): Bristol City have found superb form...just as Saints are due to pay them a visit shortly! They have won 5 of their last 6 CCC games - the other being a very respectable 2-2 at home against league leaders Wolves. A very difficult task to pick up anything there - so I'd grab a point gleefully right now with both hands! Sat 21st - Preston North End (Home): Preston currently occupy the final play-off place (6th) and have only lost 1 of their last 6 CCC games (at Swansea - which is no disgrace). One of those was a 1-3 away win at Wolves - so they do win away occassionally! Having said that - our home form is shambolic to put it mildly - but sooner rather than later - we simply HAVE to start winning our home games if we're to survive. Whether it'll be against PNE in our next home game is anyone's guess of course! Sat 28th - Cardiff City (Home): The Bluebirds currently sit 5th in the CCC and...are you ready for this...are unbeaten in their last ELEVEN league games! They've won 6 of those & drawn 5. Once again - for two Saturday's running - we are at home. We all know what that means! I hope to God by then that we've beaten PNE at home the previous week or we are big BIG trouble coming into March. Cardiff are a tough nut to crack - but we are now past the stage of a single point acceptable against a top side. We simply HAVE to win our home games if we are to have any chance of survival in this division. Summing up then - a very VERY tough February indeed.
  24. So...we lost the battle - not the war & we need to win the battle at Watford. We battled tonight and despite losing the battle (not the war) - we are not yet defeated in the war - just the battle? Hmm...
