We have gone on-trend with a full back moving into CM....
-
usually around 15 or 20 min point we just run out of oooomph, right?
-
Selles said we are going to be aggressive etc....so.....
-
No chance. They have done it again! Saints, Leicester and either Forest or Leeds, it seems
-
LOL, very true He has been blatantly out of his depth since near the start of the season. Amazing to read/hear fans comment that 'there is player in there'
-
Don't need Xg for that to be fair
-
Come on Forest
-
That is Everton almost safe

Will Smallbone - Official: Loaned to Millwall

you are aware we are about to take an enormous hit in TV money, let alone sponsorship and match day reductions. That is without considering the loans and other non-playing related services to finance. We have been making a loss for years, and the last 2 transfer window disasters will have done nothing to treat that. https://footballeconomyv2.blogspot.com/2023/05/budget-limits-have-cost-saints.html?m=1 -

Based on him smashing the championship and we never ever stand in the way of players WANTING out, let alone when we will clearly need cash. -

LOL Tella is not coming back -
Seeing as Nathan Jones was the manager of the season in the Championship, last season. That would be a decent shout if he is better than him
-
I think that is his entire career to date.. Mara has 2 goals this season. Going to re-boot us back to the premier league, you watch
-
Rebooot? Has he ever been good?
-
Anyone else think the reaction from Wright here (at the very start), that you see with other pundits, is completely OTT?
-
Adams wont be playing Championship football, let alone sat on the bench trying to do so.
-
Chris Wilder it is...... Spreadsheet has spoken
-
Kompany signs a new contract. I know it means little and will have pocketed a tidy pay rise, but confirms he will stay the next season at least. Lavia loaned to Burnley (via City), then!?
-
Perhaps. Their American investor(s) is a plymouth born fan. Took the club on when the previous owner just saved them from going out of existence in League 2. Well, I think it is a pretty great story, you dont - fair enough
-
My opinion (whether it is pony or not), a team who have lower half of league 1 resources, who are blown away financially by a handful of teams, to finish above them all is pretty good. More wins than anyone else, 20 / 23 home wins, 101 points etc. Very good IMO, which totally defies their resources. Had they scraped 2nd on 80-odd points, I would totally agree with you.
-
It is when they have very meager resources compared to about half of league 1, and beat them all.
-
Plymouth and Ipswich Promoted into the Championship. Both battered the league. Sheff Weds who finished 2nd would have gone up top 2 in any other tier 3 season in living memory (or in history). They would have won the league when we finished 2nd. Plymouth 101 points and champions. For their budget and resources, remarkable. Their manager is on the up.
-
Plymouth 3-1 up away to Port Vale. Smashed League 1 - will be champions
-
Plymouth go 2-1 up, absolutely remarkable season, defies the odds entirely.

We are probably at the point where we can break even on Armstrong, with what we probably owe at this point of his contract. Just the wages
