What we get in the news, the Guardian, Mail, RT, and more importantly in this conflict - Twitter/social media, is part of the action taking place. No idea what is false, staged or true.

The biggest takeaway from this, the information war is more critical then ever.

I can see a couple of changes. Perraud, maybe Stephens, maybe Redmond to start

To reverse the vast cuts to defence (alongside paying for COVID) it will take many many years and 10s of £billions of permanent increased spending in that area. This will mean welfare, education and/or even health absorbing cuts in spending (imagine selling that at the next election with national debt around 100%)! Can you recall a time in recent history where increased defence spending has been a vote winner? -

Are you suggesting we should be spending more? If so, how much? -
I can see KwP getting in the next squad (not Livramento). However despite Chilwell being out, I am sure I heard at the weekend on a commentary, that James is back in training. Tripper (when fit) will get in also.

I suggest we are safe from the drop 🤣

Have you seen the state of discourse over the last 5+ years? (You are not daft, so that is obviously a question that does not require an answer) That with the fallout if Afghanistan and Iraq (which is not an excuse for most of the EU) We are now weak, lazy, represented by idiots who have visual horizon of about 3 years, if that.

I think Ralph would do well with us in Europe (compared to any recent managers we have had)

Win tonight (and we will), the chase for Europe - although unlikely - becomes interesting. Love to see this at St Mary's

Further to the above... The dealing if Italian luxury goods and Belgium diamonds are exempt from any EU sanctions against Russia (according to reports)
