    Coronavirus

I see full easing of Lockdown will probably be dependant on a successful introduction of a vaccine passport scheme. never saw that coming 🤐
  2. Very true. It was telling when watching a full-blown riot on TV, objects being thrown at mounted police that hospitalised a copper, being described as a 'largely peaceful' protest.
  3. The reaction from Labour is another example of exactly why Boris / The Tories can do what they like and remain in power.

    Coronavirus

Why below 50? Why not below 60? or even 40? Let me guess, now you have been vaccinated, it should NOW be opened up to treat people in a different order?
  5. There are many ineresting articles available from blackmore though.........oh
  6. Lets play a game called 'The Wheel of Racism'. Contestants must 'spin the wheel' to see what is now racist...Here goes; *SPINS WHEEL* Sheet/classical Music! https://rassegnastampa.news/university-of-oxford-considers-scrapping-sheet-music-for-being-too-colonial
  7. Will Walcott and Ings be fit for selection? Ralph hinted before the break that Theo was not far away and that Ings is hopeful to be fit after the internationals. The game is 3 weeks away, so a good chance, surely?
  8. And who is in the wrong there??
  9. Why blame someone? What if someone finds maths insulting, because they don't get it? Should the maths teacher be suspended and the school closed? Maybe, the protestors "should shut their mouths for the good of diversity" to use a famous quote. The school pandering to this is literally the thin end of the wedge. There is only one-way this is going in the years to come. Shame not a big a fuss was made about kids being groomed in that part of the world. Oh well, priorities and all that.
  10. Unsure what makes Muslims so special when others talk about their make-believe religion? All other religions get ridiculed (not that Islam was in this instance), and the person doing it does not fear for their life/worry about having their head cut off. The teacher in this case is in hiding with police protection and will probably have to move to a different part of the country.
  11. the first step in a brave new world. I hope the teacher is rightly sacked and wears the cloak of shame for the rest of their life. Infact, I hope this teacher is cancelled from any future employment. We can't have this type of disgusting offence taking place in Britain today.

    Coronavirus

What is the point in vaccinations (given they soften the effects of covid, rather than stop you getting it), if we jab everyone and remain locked down. This is verging on barking mad, considering for the best part of last year, vaccinations was touted as the way out. Imagine reading this on coercion - https://niastories.files.wordpress.com/2013/09/bidermans_chart_of_coercion.pdf Many of the heads could very easily fit the headlines / topics of the covid situation....
  13. Ings going - it happens. He has not been that good this season (aweseome last season) but still a very good striker. We have lost players like Ings before but my worry is the state of his replacement (if any). Probably some unknown from France who takes at least half a season to get a start, with fans being really happy about it as we fight for 17th. Give it a couple of weeks and Redmond will be talked up as the new Ings.
  14. Man City will probably go for both. They bought Ake and Diaz last summer
  15. Both Saints and Leicester have got the draw each would have wanted.
  16. Redmond was very good yesterday, somewhat long over due. Lets hope this forward leading form continues against the likes of the mighty Burnley!
  17. haha Just had a look and found a thread call "players worse than Joelinton" 😁 All seems very familiar https://www.toontastic.net/board/topic/41831-players-who-are-worse-than-joelinton/page/8/#comments
  18. It is how football works. We have been the big fish in a pond in the not too distant past
  19. You are right, other countries do not register COVID deaths the exact same way as the UK. Belgium may be 'stricter', but others - say in the EU - are not.
  20. Do all other countries register COVID deaths the exact same way?

    Coronavirus

The glorious EU are going to limit the amount of vaccines that they don’t actually want. Just to make life more fair. what a truly ghastly political organisation it is.
  22. Emma Hayes - Currently Chelsea manager?
  23. The endless ball recycling has been going on for ages. I recall posting (while we were near the top) that I find it tiresome to watch. Our Xg (or what ever it is) was low earlier in the season, but we were playing well and picking up wins/Ings was scoring. Now, we are just terrible and the manager clearly has no idea what so ever on how to change it. He just seems intent on doing the same thing over and over and expecting (hoping?) a different outcome. Hassenhuttl is just a bang average manager for us, in line with so many others.
  24. What ever the score, this is another - in a long line of - shit shows, served up by our greatest ever manager(tm). Ponderous, lacking in conviction, woeful defensively - but not his fault though! Ultimately, it appears the manager has taken us as far as he can.
