  1. See that is a shame, was looking forward to that. What could have possibly gone wrong?
  2. I think a little harsh, he is taking a little time to settle, and our forward line hasn’t been stable or great this season, and our No 10s are also a bit shit. I like him, think he will be ok. Although I’m also looking forward to Small getting game time, hopefully in the cup.
  3. Yep it will give. Tino on the left when he is back 😅
  4. Yep agree with this. Thought AA did really well filling in at the LB/helping defence considering not his game at all. Really pleased with the performance overall, I though from the first 5 mins we looked like we had the bit between our gnashers…
  5. I’m only kidding, I will watch it even if Theo and Shane were up top. Surprised the strength that Spurs went with,m then again they haven’t played much I guess.
  6. And to think I just paid £0.99 for a one week prime trial. Dear Mr Bezos…
  7. Yeah I’m with you, he didn’t appear to show it, and considering his smile to Antonio when he confirmed the no offside, it must have killed him giving us a penalty. One other thing I noticed a few times yesterday was when we had two or three players around the ball having won back possession and they all left it for one another and WHU got the ball. I think their second goal came from one of these. I can’t for one second believe Keane or Viera leaving the ball just sat their list we just daintily waited for someone to take control.
  8. I still don’t understand how that Dawson challenge for the penalty wasn’t a red. It would have justified a yellow had he attempted to play the ball, which he didn’t. Red card all day long for me. A little like the Villa pen yesterday, at the end of the game, Konsa got yellow for going for the ball, whereas in reality he didn’t he literally only tried to take Lukaku down. Stupid rules IMO.
  9. Neither were the 2 keystone cops defenders swinging at the ball, bumping into each other, and both falling over 🤣
  10. I imagine MLG will reply something like… I dont believe the world’s population was 7.1 billion when I was a little boy. Also, some of the population at the time would not have been visited by Santa, due to cultural/religious beliefs. Or something like that.
  11. And wouldn’t the doubling every other day actually put a growth rate in the 000’s of %, in that we start with 10 cases, and in 2 weeks of doubling every 2 days it would be way north of what has been recorded. The other thing I dont get, is we have always known we have more virus in the community opposed to what is actually recorded in a test. Why are the Gov and scientists making such a huge deal of it now?
  12. Look, I’m agreeing with you cases are going up, just pointing out they aren’t doubling. If we had Omicron, or Delta, cases this winter would be rising. If Omicron is not as deadly as Delta, maybe it isn’t so bad for it to be coming the dominant variant, in theory, as long as hospitals can cope. Put it another way, if I were vulnerable (and to a point we all could be, but some more than others), then i would take it upon myself to shield as best I could, until the peak has passed.
  13. No one is saying cases are not going up, well I am not at least. i think the ref was about the cases not doubling every couple of days - and your figures for last Sunday and what was quoted today, have doubled in around 7 days. But whatever, crack on.
  14. So, according to official figures, it is seemingly not doubling every couple of days then! Any other news on how severe they believe the variant is. As in, our version of the South African variant may be much stronger than the same variant in South Africa?
  15. I’m not totally disagreeing with you, but thought they said Omicron would double every day. Think the figures are roughly doubling, or close to it. I’m assuming this means come a few more days we will be over £100k of proven, tested Omicron. Apparently.
  16. Yeah the handball was similar to the Palace equaliser, both should have been disallowed IMO.
  17. Thought the stat they just said about this being the first red card in the EPL for 80 games made me rewind to make sure I’d heard it correctly.
  18. Yeah I thought I was colourblind for a moment thinking the defenders were in red and white stripes.
  19. I dont really understand how this related to what I said. I believe everyone deserves the same access to treatment. I also said about vaccines for young children (which right now I personally wouldn’t do). We are currently getting under 1k people admitted to hospital. It could get worse, much worse, stay the same, or improve. I’d imagine lots of other bed space is opened up, which opens a further debate on how it affects others/wider community. I’m not even saying what is going on is the wrong thing, ive said I dont know, and that right now we could err ont he side of caution.
  20. Not sure I understand the logic of your Q or how it relates to what I said. Why wouldn’t they treat the vaccinated and unvaccinated at the same time? That would be the logical and humane course of action to take. You seem to distinguish between who is more deserving of treatment. Lets hope the doctors don’t have to make such calls, and that you aren’t the one giving orders!
  21. 😆 yeah i get you now.
  22. The Queen, what do we say when she isn’t there?
  23. Or they deserve the same access to treatment as everyone else. I had someone moaning at me today as I haven’t vaccinated my 7yo and nearly 12 yo children. Should they not have access to treatment if i choose not to vaccinate them?
  24. And what is it when she isn’t here?
