I totally agree with you here Minsk, the only think I will say about an zings chance he may have scored is the one V Utd near the end. Ings May have scored that, and 9/10 so does Armstrong. It just didn’t happen in that day, and I agree we will likely get more use out of AA than Ings over the course of the next few years.

Yeah it was freezing. I also thought our big CB got one, forgot his name. -
Yes, i quite enjoy listening to Blackmore. Not that keen on Tessam though, maybe just need to get used to him.

I was there too, think a little kid ran on the pitch and was a big cheer when he got past one of the stewards. Didnt we equalise right near the end? -
Yeah, thought he did. I usually take Charlie's comments with a huge dose of salt. I mean, Salisu being slow! I did wonder if he meant slow, or if he got the wrong person.

I thought Bednarek played RCB when Vesty was LCB.

Yeah, I wouldn’t be suggesting Mike Dean did us any sort of favour in that match 🤣

I generally think a lot of refs are just pretty incompetent rather than biased. Although I believe some, refs like Mike Dean, absolutely have a genuine dislike for certain clubs, Saints being one of them. But that said, it isnt just saints, some refs dislike other clubs. It is just one of those things, and I think VAR has made all of the above worse - shit refs now making shitter decisions on VAR reviews.

I wonder if he will play KWP at LB, and Perraud just ahead of him. That would be great against Traore. And if he Switches sides, move KWP to RB, Perraud to LB, the No 10 on the right over to the left, and Tino to R sided No10. Easy all this in game management business. JWP will need to be sticking close to Neves also, he is a real threat. Is Neto injured, he always plays well against us, think he got the equaliser int he league game at their pitch last season. That will get the tongues a’wagging, all this nonsense about Tino ahead of KWP on the right 😉

I have no idea why woman’s footie is being discussed on the match thread. -

Not sure about the time added on to be honest. I thought the pen debacle used up a couple of mins, therefore was added on top of the indicated injury time. I could be wrong, but was what i thought at the time.

I didn’t think they needed to sanction a move as such, didn’t he only have a year left on his deal, and as he wanted first team footie I doubt he would have left Chelsea to sit in Utds reserves.
-
I agree with this, promising etc. Only thing I’d say about wolves is they don’t tend to sit back, the run the channels etc. i watched them yesterday and they started ok but you could see the confidence go with the 2nd goal. I agree they are for the taking, but wonder if their manager will change it up to be tighter at the back as defensively they were pretty crap, not far from what we are usually like the last couple of seasons.
-
Yep, I’m not saying that is what I want, just think it may happen. Of course, if we beat Wolves, then it sets that run up nicely. But they are a pain in the arse for us in the league.
-
Yeah, I was thinking this and chatting to my son. I think he is making good runs, his play for the penalty yesterday was excellent. I think he will come good, and quicker than Che did in his 1st season with us.

10 points from that. Wolves (H) - D Chelsea (A) - L Leeds (H) - W Burnley (H) - D Watford (A) - W Villa (H) - D Norwich (A) - D (although that 4-5 in 1994 one of my fav games)

I think the even weirder thing is they gave the foul against Armstrong. I cant really get my head around anyh of it, other than it probably wasnt a red.
