  1. So, yes then? Did the contract to Priti's mate cost double because there was a global pandemic and a global shortage of goods as a result, thus the simple economics of supply and demand drove the prices higher?
  2. Wasn't the money used for health?
  3. Just your regular gang on gang weekend action. One of them has been arrested for conspiracy to murder.
  4. To be fair, they didn't participate in the first phase of the WHO organisation investigation!
  5. Aintclever, the scientist?
  6. The claim last year was that he had broken the rules - rules that he had been instrumental in creating, so should have known better. Are you selectively remembering history? Those calling him out for bullshitting - from both sides of the fence - were right all along, but that has never been disputed.
  7. Nope. He didn't (technically) break any rules during his trip to Barnard Castle last year. He did try to justify it with some bullshit story though which made him look a right prat. He's now changed his mind for the reason for the trip, which apparently was because there were a number of people outside his home making threats. He certainly has a bit of 'form' for telling the odd porky or two....
  8. Like the fact that he's now claiming that they went North because there was a group of people outside his house threatening his wife. Conveniently forgot that last year...
  9. Most of what he said seems to be because he has a hard on for Hancock for some reason - it's very much he said, she said hearsay at the moment. The rest just seems to be because he doesn't just have good enough eyesight to drive a car, but also has 20-20 hindsight! Five claims fact checked
  10. Hell hath no fury like a lover scorned....
  11. None better.
  12. I love this quote : Not just a competitive budget, but a 'very, very competitive budget', some might even say 'the bestest budget'. And yet, what have they achieved in the past four seasons with their very, very competitive budget?
  13. Maybe they've all heard about the new 'live stream' that will be available on the back of the seat in front, giving frree access to any game being played anywhere in the world at the time, thus improving the fan experience by not making the fans watch the shite being played out on the pitch
  14. People who don't use an antiperspirant - especially when they go to the gym. 30 seconds to apply to save the rest of us from smelling you isn't asking much.
  15. I've had a think about it and the only thing I can come up with is that they are trying to increase their take up of the vaccine, which in some areas is struggling to get over the 50% mark. Clearly I'm missing something glaringly obvious so need some help to be pointed in the right direction...
  16. I can't believe that you, of all people, would swallow the 2004 Tsunami horseshit, what a completely made up load of bollocks that was
  17. Apologies, I missed the last bit - probably due to falling asleep whilst reading the rest of it!
  18. Surely questions end with question marks?
  19. Ideally you should provide a link to your source as well if you don't want to be accused of plagiarism. Failing that, you could click the quote marks and paste the quote into the handy little box that pops up. It's not rocket science.
  20. You're not a linguist either
  21. Good job we put all our stock in whatever those scientists profess and don't look at the statistics and think for ourselves
  22. I agree, completely reasonable response from the industry - it should have been legislated for way before it was all opened up, but I think the Govt's current stance on going / not going on holiday tells you all you need to know about their thought process. Always trying to please everyone and ending up with some mish mashed bollocks of a policy!
  23. I understand the point, but it shouldn't be an issue. Airport and airline owners have been baying to get their industry up and running, so really should have thought this through. Yep, it will cost more to open up more terminals, but that cost should be passed on to the consumer. If the ticket prices are higher as a result, then that will be self prohibitive and reduce unnecessary international travel. The airlines want to be at full capacity as soon as possible (completely understandable), so won't want to introduce anything that might hinder that.
  24. They are supposed to. The bigger issue is that they arrive at the airports with other flights (some from countries that don't have to quarantine / isolate) and can spend many hours in immigration mixing freely with little to no separation.
