  1. He didn't 'break his own rules'. The Ferguson incident was different wasn't it, with him traveling during lockdown to meet up with someone who he was not allowed to meet! Hancock has kissed (probably more, but all we've got so far is a picture of him kissing her) a colleague that he had already spent time in close proximity to when traveling in the back of a car! As others have mentioned, he isn't going to be thrown under the bus yet, he is clearly being saved as a scapegoat for further down the line.
  2. Social distancing at work was a recommendation not a law. Has he crossed the line? Take out the recommendation he didn't follow and the story is "man has affair with woman". Not exactly headline news!
  3. Which law did he break?
  4. Hahahahaha you fucking weirdo.
  5. My wife does the shopping 😏
  6. Such short notice that you couldn't go online and sort out a roaming package at any point before you got there. You were clearly never a cub scout 😏
  7. Don't worry Whitey and Badger, I've 'found' the point. Timmy sums it up nicely, the telco's will revert to roaming charges because there are so many stupid people around that will end up paying over the odds. He even gives a nice little example of one of them from last weekend
  8. Later in the summer presumably means after everyone has had their holidays in the UK to maximise tax revenue (or staycation as Whelk likes to think of them )
  9. I covered this 3 days ago. Keep up!
  10. You can look at a map by downloading the relevant sections before leaving the sanctity of your hotel and losing your wi-fi connection, or you could buy a paper map. Do you 'need' to use trip advisor or WhatsApp whilst outside of the hotel? How about enjoying the place you've gone to visit, soak up the experience for yourself rather than have to check what everyone else's opinion is before you do anything or tell everyone about it whilst you're doing it? If the answer to that is yes, you do 'need' to do all those things, I imagine you already know how sad your life is, but you could get yourself prepared and sort a roaming package out before you leave, or get yourself a local sim card with a data plan when you get to where you are going.
  11. Absolute horseshit (again)!
  12. Lol, roaming! Welcome to the 90's! So many alternatives to roaming these days - whatsapp, video calling and pretty much every web based application negate the need for roaming as long as there is a wifi connection - even in the most backwards of countries in the EU you can get free wifi in coffee shops, supermarkets, restaurants etc etc! Anyone 'caught' by roaming charges these days deserves to have their money taken from them!
  13. Absolute horseshit! The youth mobility / working holiday visa is available for all 18-25 year olds in the UK to work in Europe for 1 to 2 years. Nothing stopping those young people from doing something different in the EU or further afield. This I agree with completely, however, it'll probably take a couple of years before anything is implemented and only when it's obvious the labour market is totally screewed!
  14. Correct. The job you do needs to be on the 'wanted' list though so it's not available to just anyone.
  15. Only for a few more days - after that you've missed the boat and won't be allowed to live in the EU... At that point you'll have made your bed, so will have to lie in it. You could try and change the situation instead of moaning though if it bothers you that much, set up a rejoin campaign...
  16. And there we have it. Why did you mention that you would be alright because you have two passports if you have no intention of using your second one.
  17. Lucky you have two passports then. Why not make use of your European one and stop fucking moaning about the UK?
  18. Rainbows galore next year in Qatar then!
  19. Odd that you would state the last 5 years haven't been wonderful - I thought you liked the EU?
  20. But in Collins's black and white world, unless they work 100% effectively then they don't work at all - that's how this opposites thing works isn't it?
  21. I'm sure Antrim will be delighted to celebrate Brexit vote day's fifth birthday.
  22. Got me there
  23. Fair enough. You wanted it from day 1, that was never going to happen. You carry on being angry for the next decade or so!
