  1. I imagine something like this would work for you. http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/prods/networking/wirelessnetworking/wirelessextenders/WN2000RPT-100UKS.html Not done a huge search, but you could probably find cheaper ones out there.....
  2. A long slow painful death, ending up with either liquidation, or a very long stay in the lower leagues, maybe even non league. What more could we ask for? Not even Nick could positively spin that one for the skates
  3. Not sure which bit you were reading, but I don't see anyone taking any responsibility for decisions made. I see Lampitt saying, wait until the end of the season, and the we'll see - basically if they stay up, he'll claim all the credit, if relegated, he'll probably blame SC for not performing with the bestest team in the league. Meanwhile, SC is distancing himself from the policy in a 'not my fault guv' kind of way, thus pretending he is a really good manager, just lacking in resources.
  4. It's facebook. If you've put information on there that is sensitive and you want to keep private, then that's your own fault. If you've put your bank details on there, can you let me know so I can get to all your money first! What else do you really put on there? Your name? probably; your address? doubt it unless you like stalkers; your phone number? lol at you if you did!; your email address? if it gets too much spam, get a new one - you did use a second one for receiving spam didn't you, and not your real one? People moaning about facebook and privacy really are some of the most stupid people on the planet. It's a site that shows off your information to the world. You decide what information to put on it, therefore you decide what the world sees. If you put anything private or sensitive on there, I guess you only have yourself to blame.
  5. Take them out and put them in storage. Renting a property furnished is the same as sticking all your furniture into the street with a big sign on it saying 'take me, or destroy me, you choose'.
  6. Luckily, he is somewhat lacking in the abilities department
  7. Wrong. With his 80% charge over all players that get sold, it would put £400,000 into Chinny's pocket this month. I guess the skates can wave goodbye to the nugget then.
  8. That's a bit harsh, and not sure Trousers deserves it just for starting the thread, but if it must be, then it must be.
  9. Once Saint Boggy has mastered the apostrophe, maybe she could move on to how to use a 'space bar'?
  10. They're all as bad as each other. Leave them all to it I say, the more of both sides get killed, the less we have to worry about them.
  11. I think Corpse is quoting the figure less win bonuses, goals scored, appearances, clean sheets, shop opening, ribbon cutting, bonuses, which quite clearly aren't being earnt at the moment. That probably makes the £22k per week more realistic. It certainly seems to fit well with the much spouted £10k per week wage cap that the Android was touting around for his CVA to work
  12. Because the only reason why they were able to continue to perform their jobs, and thus be in a position to achieve their statistics is because the bank was bailed out by the Gov't - the rest of us tax payers. I get your point but just think that ANY bonuses being paid out in the banks that took money from the Gov't [us], should not be allowed until that debt has been repaid. I guess that sucks for the guys and gals that have performed their jobs but at the end of the day, they are lucky to still have them - while many have lost theirs - due to the bail out their company received. Would you swap a years bonus for the job security the bail out has ensured?
  13. My opinion..... If it's a bank that has had a 'bail out' from the Gov't, then there should be no bonuses paid until the amount of the bail out, plus appropriate interest has been paid back, that's fair right? However, it's more likely to be from an investment bank, rather than a high street bank, so providing the individual and the bank itself are paying appropriate taxes, then fair play to the guys and gals for earning such huge bonuses. They will have earnt those bonuses on money made for the company - thus taxable profits - so more money goes to the exchequer to help get us out of the financial hole that has been dug for the country. I guess the people who really do think that the bankers making large bonuses are just jealous that they aren't one of them.
  14. I rent my house out, and DO use an agent to manage things for me. However, the house is about 150 miles away from where I live, so the 10% fees per month save me a lot of hassle when things do go wrong with the house, as they sort everything out for me. If you are gonna live close to the property I'd say do it yourself.
  15. How's that nice shiny new world cup hosting toilet bowl stadium coming along that you mentioned right at the very start of this thread? Surely you can't be saying you got it wrong
  16. Do it yourself you lazy Pikey
  17. Lol. Funny you should mention it! Don't suppose anyone wants to buy a 'P' reg VW Polo - years MOT no tax! The cost of insurance is just an absolute joke, so the car idea is being scrapped. Instead it looks like he's going to be getting a moped - something we didn't want - but at £700 for a new one and £200 for a years insurance it's the most affordable option, if not the safest. Apparently the insurance industry is so screwed up they would rather have our teenagers roaming the land on mopeds risking life and limb, rather than driving around in much safer cars! Since Mrs WSS and I both have cars, there is no [legal] way to get the boy insured unless it's in his own name, the cost of which is horrific.
  18. Any young drivers on here that have insurance? If so, which company do you use for it, and how much does it cost you? We have a 17 year old, who we bought a car for - 'P' reg volkswagon polo for about £600 - but really struggling to find an insurance quote that is sensible! So far we have a range from £4,200 to £22,000 for one year third party only We wanted to get him set up on his own insurance policy so he can start earning no claims bonus so it becomes cheaper sooner, but these prices are ridiculous! We've trawled through the usual suspects of comparison websites and that's the best there is it seems, anyone use any specialist companies? Also, is it worth putting him on the Mrs's insurance as a named driver even though the car is registered in his name and he will be the main driver?
  19. I went with the boyfriend the day the news broke. I'm still going for him, but the bookies won't take my bet
  20. Off to the pantomime with the little one and the Grand Parents. Then a quiet one in with the Mrs. I hate new year's eve too. Used to enjoy it when I was younger, but can't be arsed these days. The BBC coverage also winds me up, with the presenter constantly banging on about the awesome firework display going on on the Embankment, then they cut to pictures of the crowd gawping and 'ooohhhing' at the fireworks. Just leave a camera - via the red button - on the firework display so we can watch it uninterrupted and get rid of the retarded presenters while it's on!
  21. Even family fortunes have the good grace to research 100 people. 90 people can hardly be called conclusive scientific evidence.
  22. 90 people, is that all? Hardly conclusive scientific evidence is it? I suppose you also believe the claim that "8 out of 10 cats prefer it".
  23. To be fair, I think you're mixing up your arguments and making yourself look a bit silly. Plants are living things, so too are vegetables, did you have any regrets when you were stuffing those [ex]living things down your throat on your meat free Christmas feast. How about flies and maggots, they too are living things, should we ban fly sprays? What about wasp traps, and their awful inhumane drowning of the poor living wasps, what a way to go eh, spending your last remaining minutes on the planet drowning in an empty coke bottle. If you feel that strongly about the poor little foxes, why not get in the way of the hunts and stop them from chasing poor little Basil?
  24. You could put them all in a great big shed, thousands of them in one place, and lock the door, that should keep them safe from harm
