  1. Errrrr, Div 3 I believe - if you're gonna use 'old money'
  2. I voted for the statue And now my profile pic of SFC winning the JPT is standing proud amongst the web fingered mutants
  3. What's it got to do with the PFA who killed off pompey? And besides, it's just you retarded, lap up the spin, fall hook line and sinker for all the bill bullsh1t skates that still believe it is the players killing the club! It isn't. It's the numpties like Storrie - remember when you were singing his name PMSFL - and Lampitt that have killed off pompey by offering the lunatic wages and contracts in the first place! The players are just this month's convenient scapegoat.
  4. GEt some feed, weed and moss killer, sprinkle liberally on lawn, leave it alone and in a week the lawn should be almost weed free That's the lazy way I do it! Alternatively, get this : http://www.lazylawn.co.uk/ Never worry about the lawn again!
  5. I guess it serves her right for driving a Delorian
  6. Do they ever get the clock fixed in your scenario? It's like an episode of back to the future
  7. Congratulations! But 9 years between the last two!!! Might I suggest :
  8. Of course it's less costs! What's the total amount Chinny is offering, isn't £500k and then another £500k and a third £500k if [lol!] they reach the prem? So, in effect it's £1m he's offering. PKF's costs are £700k at the moment, but I'm sure this will rise to £800k by the time they get the CVA through [lol!]. Which leaves £200k for the creditors less whatever costs they can think of. So the 2p will probably become somewhere around 0.5p in the pound! That is of course if they can shift the high earners [lol!]
  9. The ads on this site are based on your browsing history.... Hence why so many of us get dating ads
  10. 1.7MB down 0.5MB up The retards that built our house / street / community ten years ago didn't have the foresight to put anything other than BT standard cabling into the streets! Apparently there are no plans to upgrade things either. Bloody marvelous.
  11. Personally, I think you should write a thank you note to Paddy. With Paddy and his ability to do his job, none of this would have happened. Paddy has become an instant legend
  12. I guess the key word there - tiny little word!! - is PAY. That is the exact opposite of what the skates are trying to do. They want the players to leave without being paid in order to save the club. It's not the player's fault that the idiots running the club signed them up to stupid contracts. As far as they are concerned, they have a contract. Why shouldn't they be paid for the contract!
  13. Phillip, Andrew and Harry are not directly in line for the throne. William is and has been denied on several occasions to enter a war zone - apparently he'd love to go, but isn't allowed. Charles may well have done nothing and may well be a complete idiot, but like it or not, once his Mum pops her clogs he's going to be the head of ALL the armed forces! My guess is, Mummy is just smoothing the way for when that eventually happens in a couple of years.
  14. That isn't true. After 1287 pages, they're still f[]cked! F[]cked if Chinny takes over, f[]cked if the trust take over, f[]cked if neither of them take over How do you like your toast?
  15. I have a macbook and an iMac and used to use Safari exclusively. However, lately I've found that Safari is very slow - especially loading new web pages - so I've switched to Chrome on both machines. Have to say I find Chrome much quicker and easier to use.
  16. I doubt it. He knows that the two or three out the door isn't going to happen. He's been trying to flog them since January but no-one is interested. Even those he sent out on loan with their alleged 'buy at the end of the season' clauses were sent home. They aren't going anywhere, no-one wants them, and they WILL get their money back - they're more secured than Chinny in that respect
  17. I have to tip my hat to them, you truly are amazing at bending the rules In a competition that stated expressly that the winning proceeds could not under any circumstances be used for player wages, and that the winnings absolutely MUST be used for the fans, PFC have still managed to find a way around these rules and stitch their own fans up, keeping the money to pay TBH for four days this week It truly is a masterstroke to say that the money is being used to discount season tickets, and not only that but to claim that winning the money was factored in before they won it - absolute genius! There must be a book of masterstrokes left in the office for Birch Ordinarily, I think I would feel a little annoyed with a club doing this to their own fans, but this is Pompey! Nothing they do surprises me, and the fact that the club is blatantly ripping off it's own fans, just makes it even funnier! I think we can now add Birch to the list of legends in the farce!
  18. I'd like to know who is making the money from it? 27 million pounds and ALL the performers are volunteers! Somebody, somewhere is making a fortune off it!
  19. That's him out then! Pompey NEEDS premier league wealth to get out of the hole it's already in! £500k down payment. £18m for Chinny £10?m to clear the football debts £10m to pay the wages this season. Total : £38.5m! How much can Everton or Rangers be bought for at the moment? Besides, isn't the chunky ice cream man still hiding in Russia playing chess?
  20. Errrrrr, one question.... Since they went into admin they have been under a 'transfer embargo' from the FL. How, then, have they managed to rack up One million, six hundred and twenty four thousand POUNDS worth of transfer and agents fees POST APPOINTMENT? Or is this £1.6m attributable to the 'free' loans they took on that were to eat squirrels, camp in a tent and ride a bike to work? Kind of makes a mockery of the transfer embargo that the FL imposes to stop clubs from accruing more debt....
  21. Which is exactly right and within the FL rules! They CAN start the season in admin with no points deduction. They CAN'T start a second season in admin - full stop! They CAN receive a points penalty if they exit admin without and agreed CVA. They SHOULD receive a points penalty for rolling up the first CVA into the second one, but I doubt they will! Still, whatever happens, with Chainrai or the trust in charge, the self destruct button will be hit. Chinny won't want to spend a single penny more than he has too - he isn't worried about promotion! - and the trust won't have any money to spend. So either way, apart from the high earners they have and can't get rid of, the rest of the squad will be made up of free transfers and cheap kids.
  22. You seem to be forgetting that it is all LESS EXPENSES! Also, the complicated sum from above, so in effect, £3000 becomes : 83.2% of £12 = £9.99, less expenses, probably original CVA expenses AND current PKF expenses. So from £3000 original debt, you MIGHT have enough to buy some photo paper for your photo business, as long as it doesn't cost more than about £7! You've gone from being able to afford a Cannon 5D to being able to afford a few bits of photo paper - which will remain blank as you've no camera to take pictures with - assuming you are still using the photographer small business example
  23. ****ed up isn't it It's what makes the Pompey takeover saga so interesting I'm sure the FL will then be able to 'sell' or give the remaining players to other clubs, with the FL only being responsible for the shortfall in wages on the current contracts, so no where near as much liability as paying off the contracts in full.... No mention of the gun running son's property, in the same way that there is no mention of the houses and businesses adjacent to FP. None of the land is owned by PFC, so it is irrelevant to put it into the CVA.
  24. Didn't that Welsh fella that was found guilty also try that excuse
  25. That's fair enough. But what the feck did the others - ranks 2 to 52 - do to not get picked?
