  1. I guess the picture on that article is from one of their home games by the look of all the empty seats in the background
  2. That would certainly appear to be the case! Deppo was boring and predictable. Sadly, he either didn't understand what are pretty simple rules to follow, or didn't think they applied to him. Fair play to Boj and the mods for sticking to their guns and enforcing the ban. It's not rocket science to stay within the rules of the forum, especially if you've been warned 19 times previously!
  3. That sounds suspiciously like a Corpy Ho Ho quote
  4. Lol. I wonder if his [ings] mum would be happy driving him to Fulham every day for training
  5. Calm down people This is Pompey we're talking about! They had the absolute best team - on paper - in the entire league last season, and look what happened with Clotterill in charge I've heard no plans to get rid of him, so even with 10 more signings - just to be able to complete the fixtures! - they're still fecked. Off they go to league 1 pretty soon, then they will bottom out in league 2 with 3,000 of the bestest fans in the world turning up to the rotten cesspit once a fortnight. That, dear Nick, will be toast
  6. SIX! Gaydamak Al Fahim the ice cream man Al faraj the mirage Chanrai - pre admin Chanrai again - although reluctantly - post admin Finally[?] the mad Russians with alleged mafia connections. Seven if you count the dodgy administrator. All that in less than 2 years! And we though we went through a lot of managers in a decade!
  7. You're forgetting the FL have invented the new, improved version Presumably this one involves holding a pen and writing your name!
  8. Anyone know if they have passed the FAPPT? Last time they claimed they had, the FL put out a statement to the contrary Nothing else has been said since, so presumably they haven't?
  9. Folks, I need your help We have had tenants in our house since March 2009 - initially a 6 month assured shorthold unfurnished agreement. The same tenants have lived there since March 09 - now on a 'rollover' contract. We took out the agreement via an estate agency. We now wish to take back possession of the property and were under the impression that we needed to give one month's notice of intent to do so - Under 'termination' of our terms and conditions it states 'This agreement may be terminated by either party by way of one months' written notice'. It then says further on 'Landlords should be aware that the legal minimum notice period to tenants under assured tenancies is generally two months'. Since the 6 month contract expired some 15 months ago, I am assuming we are no longer classed as being under 'assured tenancy'??? So, can anyone confirm, can we legally stick to one month's written notice for the tenants to move out - two months will be inconvenient for us to say the least!
  10. Put salt tablets into the cistern once you've got on your knees and scrub the limescale off. It will not come back again.
  11. He will be tomorrow
  12. But not saggy chops?
  13. They'll probably wangle all of Ben Haim's wages in there, plus story teller's couple of million. I reckon they'll be down to 2p in the pound by the time they've finished! Still, the creditors - well some of them! - voted for it, so they only have themselves to blame.
  14. Steve, you seem surprised that Pompey aren't bothering to pay some money they owe
  15. A nailed on certainty the week before Easter. Just dotting I's and crossing T's they were. Can't imagine why the paperwork hasn't gone through yet. The FA probably lost it....
  16. Don't get done, get Dom
  17. The Blues have to wait until their takeover is completed to get the transfer over the line for the man who scored 11 goals in 43 appearances last season. Which must suggest that the takeover is a 'done deal' then if the norris move is a done deal! Baj, you can close this thread now
  18. Since there is no mention in the bible of dinosaurs, the obvious, nay correct, conclusion to be drawn by believers who take the literal word of the bible as gospel, is that dinosaurs did not exist, despite the evidence to the contrary! How could such an important part of the planet's history have been omitted from the bible?
  19. Seriously? Apparently 'God' tells us what to do and how to do it, and everything is 'his' [sic] wish. You can't praise God for the good things and absolve him of all responsibility for the bad things just because it suits your agenda He either exists and is therefore the 'supreme being' watching everyone and everything and guiding their every movement, thought and action, or he doesn't exist and we're [humankind] responsible for our own actions and consequences....
  20. No he doesn't. End of debate?
  21. The punishment fits the crime, gets my vote
  22. They want to play a bunch of mickey mouse teams that they can easily turn over, then proclaim they have an excellent squad, everything is rosy and they'll walk the league, thus hoping to sell more season tickets to the gullible few. A simple plan, but one with a few glaring holes, like no-one wants to play them, and no-one wants to foot the bill
  23. MIght be cheaper to go to the scrapyard and see if they have a car with the same colour door as the one you want. Did this when I first learnt to drive and scraped the door on my Mum's car. She didn't notice that the door was slightly less sun faded for at least 15 minutes or so!
  24. Sadly, it's always been like that. However the food is always ****e, the service is just about acceptable, but the bill is nowhere near value for money.
