  1. I notice you / clotts haven't named any subs, so I can only assume that that there is the legit team. Excellent work
  2. Education cuts mean the calculators are all broken and not to be replaced. What's that saying about 'lies, damn lies and statistics'?
  3. I agree, truly cringeworthy! Luckily, you can also buy Apple products on line and avoid all the retarded Americanisms
  4. So, basically the corpse is trying to argue that even during our boycott, we had more fans prepared to go and support the team than the dirty cheating skates had during their last season playing premiership football. Forgive me, but isn't he supposed to be putting up arguments FOR his team, and the 'greatest fans in the whole world', rather than against them? The Pompey village must really miss their idiot when he's posting on here!
  5. Is this a good time for the mods to put the corpse on 'global' ignore, that would be even funnier
  6. He was from Cwmbran! Compared to that place, Newport is paradise on earth!
  7. Rules me out as a replacement. Having only one seeing eye I'm not allowed an HGV licence! I did used to run a pub just up the road from where all that happened though. http://www.pub-explorer.com/southwales/pub/parcypriorinnmalpas.htm
  8. On a more serious note, what job did he do? How much was he paid? I'm living back in Weston Super Mare and job hunting at the moment
  9. Careful Gaz, you know who will claim it's all another conspiracy
  10. Sorry, are you saying that Pompey fans will only turn up to support if the owner spends millions of pounds on the team? How many millions does he need to spend before they'll turn up to watch? is it £10m, £20m, £50m, £130m? Whatever happened to all those PTID types? Perhaps they were all JCLs after all! Most of the posts on your new owner's facebook page were stating they were be happy if the club just survived, maybe they wanted mega bucks to be spent after all!
  11. LMAO! When I posted the same scenario a number of pages back, Corpse came out with the old 'conspiracy' line, and dismissed it out of hand! Now, it appears that 'everyone' knows no money was lent to the skates. Not entirely sure why the ex head of the FA 'financial security force' would allow Chainrai to help himself to millions of pounds worth of money that he isn't owed if 'everyone' knows he didn't lend any money in the first place. Still, I'm sure corpse can dismiss that as just another of those wild conspiracies.
  12. Really, songs against the board? Have they not noticed who 'the board' is recently - I guess with so many changes recently it's hard to keep up! I'm gonna scrape together every penny I've got tomorrow and buy shares in every single shop that sells concrete in the Portsmouth area! I'll be a millionaire by Christmas if they start singing songs about the board!
  13. The M27 should be reasonably free flowing, but you'll get snagged on the A27 into the sh1t hole.
  14. Carlsberg don't do football results....... Oh hang on, maybe they do
  15. 1. You're only complaining about the prices because your team is so sh1t! 2. If you have a youth team, why not stick some of them on the bench to make up the numbers? Nobody is giving Pompey any sympathy this season as you used all the same sob stories last year. The rest of the league has run out of crocodile tears for Cheats FC as well
  16. Sorry, I we meant to feel sorry for you? What happened to your entire youth team last season? Oh that's right, Clotterill decided you didn't need one in your quality over quantity regime. I guess you must be really looking forward to the hopeful possibility that you might sign a new player before the end of August. Nevermind eh, there's always the loan market to dip in to for your seven loans to top up the numbers. That has to be the best business plan doesn't it! Paying out shed loads of money for players that you have to give back at the end of the season, not even any hope of getting any money back via the transfer market
  17. And also most likely to be uninsured if he is the one mainly driving the car, which will no doubt be registered in his name! My advice, get a moped or scooter, set up the insurance - about £200 a year - stick the moped in the garage, and use public transport until he's at least 25! Insurance for anyone under 25 these days is an absolute joke - we tried getting our 17yo son insured on a polo worth £500, and the cheapest quote was about 4 grand! At lease if he's goes down the scooter route, he will have 3 years NCB when he's 25, and will get a 55% discount.....
  18. You could ask EXACTLY the same thing about drugs. They CAN do it, it IS illegal, so why would they want to? Simple answer is 'the buzz', and I guess peer pressure.
  19. A fair comment, and one I guess that pap will completely ignore! So far, the only solution I believe pap has come up with is to hug the hoodies and try to understand why they are so angry with society!
  20. GREED. Every police constable in the country has been on TV this morning saying the same thing! These people are greedy, they want something for nothing, because OUR society has taught them they can have it! That is the 'cause' of the riots.
  21. As you previously mentioned, the 100 strong peaceful protest to elicit answers from a senior police officer, intended to stay for one hour, but were still there at 9.00pm. From the Guardian article that you posted earlier - see 'timeline' at the bottom of the article : 6 August, 8.20pm Two police cars parked about 200 yards from the police station are set alight. Riots break out in which windows are smashed, a petrol bomb thrown, and buildings set on fire. A double decker bus is also set alight. Police try to break up the crowd but bottles and other missiles are thrown at them. Seems to be a bit of a coincidence that just 200 yards from the police station where the 'peaceful' protest was happening, all of a sudden two police cars are set alight! I would bet good money that some of those involved in the peaceful protest were involved in that arson. I'm not sure why you've taken it upon yourself to defend these people BTF. Let's face it, there are some nasty people in this country. I would wager that the brother of a gun toting gangster [A gun was found at the scene, as verified by the Guardian], is probably one of those nasty people, and would probably be capable of setting fires to police cars - all in my humble opinion of course.
  22. According to the Guardian article that you posted above, it states that around 100 people marched on the Police station 'demanding justice'. I'm not entirely sure what they were after with their demands for justice, but I can't imagine that it would be particularly peaceful. I agree that they have the right to have some questions answered, I just don't believe that they have acted in a way that we would consider - in polite society - the right way to have those questions heard! The police have already stated that there is an independent investigation being carried out, quite how they thought that would give results in 48 hours is beyond me. Perhaps they should wait, as I'm sure most people would do, until the coroner's court is assembled, and raise their questions there. That is after all the system we have in this country isn't it? Unless of course you're saying that it is acceptable that every time someone has a complaint / question for the police, they should round up a hundred or so mates, march to the police station and 'demand justice' for themselves?
  23. Yeah, but if we had a white seat with one red diagonal stripe on it, then that would look truly awesome. We would most certainly be the envy of the entire South coast if we could pull of such an amazing coup.
  24. Lol. 5 yellow cards = how much of a fine? I wonder if they can pay it, or whether they'll be asking H&W to cough up for them
