  1. The detail = they don't.
  2. Pack it on a Thursday but not on a Saturday when there is a game on? Bestest eh? Why does he keep printing this in their rag? At best it's misrepresentation at worst it's blatant lies! Portpin haven't been put forward for the FPPT this season! The last thing that was reported was that the FL had told tricky trev to name who his preferred bidder was, then, and ONLY THEN would they bother with the expense and effort of the FPPT! At that point tricky named Chinny / Portpin, then within an hour or so had changed his mind and named the property trust. Hardly enough time to fail the test within an hour after the FL meeting had finished anyway! If knobhead neil is going to continue to print this drivel, perhaps someone should ask for proof of his claims - you know the same basic journalistic principals that the BBC were accused of not following this week! I suspect he will. I suspect he'll also produce the records that were ratified by the lady judge the first time the bullet was dodged that back up these claims in a legal document I AM SECURE, I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK Err no. They've already been told IN WRITING by the football league what the terms are in order to grant the Golden Share. A ten point deduction is one of those terms! Denying it's going to happen over and over won't affect the outcome Of course, they have the right to appeal, just like we did, but personally I'd fancy my chances more if I were locked in a jail cell with a lion that hadn't eaten for two weeks!
  3. Surely not! The corpse doesn't come on here any more - pretty sure he's made that announcement on POL, the same as Bill has [Hi Bill and banker[sic]]. Such a bunch of nutjobs we must be on here, that they just can't keep away!
  4. Didn't Ho, or PES - one of those muppets anyway - tell us that they had sold 11k season tickets? If so, I guess that means maybe 200 or so walk ups! Perhaps the web fingered residents have seen through the thinly veiled sales patter and jingoism and decided to keep their money firmly in their pockets! I doubt they're keeping it to pay for a share of the property developer's new venture
  5. It's truly amazing how the most f[]cked up club in the history of football on the verge of liquidation can spin these dire consequences into an 'opportunity' for the fans!
  6. It's hard to read, because of the poor quality, but what I think I'm seeing is : 2012/13 Income £2.5m Expenditure £5.0m Cash carried forward £1.3m 2013/14 Income £5.2m Expenditure £7.4m Cash carried forward £2.2m 2014/15 Income £6.2 Expenditure £5.5 Cash carried forward £0.9 2015/16 Income £6.2m Expenditure £5.3 Cash carried forward £0.2m I'm no mathematical genius I'll admit, but surely those figures don't add up...
  7. The polling station in Bristol - which is having its mayoral elections today as well - managed a staggering 1 person in the first two hours this morning. They have 1,000 people lined up to count the votes overnight tonight, I suspect at that rate they may struggle to count 1 vote each!
  8. I think the correct phrase is "the more things change, the more they stay the same".
  9. The -10 WILL come off this season if they exit admin before the end of the season. The -10 will come off in the close season - ready for next season - if they exit admin after the end of this season and before the beginning of next. The -10 is irrelevant if they don't come out of admin between now and the beginning of next season as the rules state they cannot start two consecutive seasons in the same admin.
  10. What would be the odds on a nice -15 for this season - financial irregularities - followed up with a nice -10 to start next season once they finally lumber out of admin?
  11. I wonder if his shirt will raise more money in an auction for the poppy appeal than the other player's shirts will? Would be interesting to find out...
  12. Maybe he was just having a Paddy?
  13. It's odd. In the title of his post he states that the scum are £24m in debt. The body of the post then mentions £33m and then £60m. He either needs to make his mind up or stop making stuff up like Chinny is allegedly doing What will happen is simple - in the short term! Tricky Trev will drag things out until Feb when the next parachute payments are due. Then he'll slap in his £3m bill plus £100k a week, which should eat up most of that £8m. Then he'll hand the club to the PST with absolutely no operating budget that they were counting on, who will realise they need to pay the ex hero / villain players about £8m, plus whatever King Kanu claims - how is that little court case coming along by the way? - at which point they'll either borrow the money owed from the property gang in return for the other 51% of the company, or they'll fold having set a record for the shortest time a club has ever been owned by the fans! Well, they did say they were trailblazers...
  14. 2000 fans? Not according to the last release it was only 1800 odd wasn't it? And even then they only expected 75% to actually cough up any cash! And what is all this about 'investors'? Are they claiming the fans that put money in will actually see a return on their 'investment'?
  15. What about developers who don't live locally? You know the ones that, let's say, live in London?
  16. IS it just me, or does it seem a little odd that Tricky Trev has announced the PST as the preferred bidder, yet they still have not submitted a business plan? Also, did they not say last week or the week before that they were just finalising the prospectus - where is this elusive prospectus? How long before they actually announce to the fans how much wonga they need them to borrow, or are they just trying to hide it under the carpet like a rotting corpse? Has anyone ever mentioned that the figures [especially those that haven't even been announced yet!] just don't add up?
  17. My suspicions : A mate of yours passed on your details - probably in order to get a discount on his/her own mobile, sort of friends and family discount. That is the most likely way they got your details. Even if you are successful in your complaints, Giff Gaff will have nothing to answer for if that is how they got your details. With regards to the sim card itself, my advice would be to bin it if you don't want it! I have had a sim card from them in the past - one that wasn't eventually used anyway - and not once did they contact me or send spam emails or junk mail after I received the sim. The sim is completely meaningless until you log on to their website key in your card details, add money to the sim and activate it, so I wouldn't worry about it! I also ordered a sim from them in August this year for my daughter to put in her phone. Once the registration was carried out, even as an existing 'customer' they have left us alone completely - no email, no marketing, no phone calls etc etc, just a polite reminder once the 'goody bag' is running out. I appreciate your point that you have never given them your details, hence my suspicion one of your mates did - maybe they even did it to wind you up? My advice would be to let it drop! After all, even if you do manage to get a complaint registered, what exactly do you expect the outcome to be? At best you will receive a letter from them confirming that your details have been removed from their database - which in itself would be ironic as how would they know what address to send the letter to if they'd removed your details You've told them you're not interested in their sim or their company and requested not to be contacted. I'd leave it at that if I were you and make a complaint if they do contact you - in my experience they won't anyway - but if they do, you may have a small complaint then.
  18. As usual, the numbers just don't add up! If [lol] FP is valued at £2.75m [pmsl] and the five HNW - six of them are mentioned in the snooze article??? - are only putting in £1.5m, then where does the cash come from to buy FP? We know the trust don't have the cash. Perhaps Stuart is buying FP on his own and that's why they name six others? I wouldn't go so far as to say the News are miss reporting the facts deliberately, more that they are too stupid to present them in any meaningful way? The production of the prospectus next week [?] will be interesting
  19. Junction 9 has to be your man
  20. I disagree! They have indeed done extremely well to convince people that a business that has gone bust and traded insolvently more times than Dubai Phil has told a tall [incredibly boring] story on this very thread, should be worth the risk to lend them yet more money! I, four one, will be the first to PMSFL when it all goes tits up again and yet more people lose yet more money! I trust that HMRC will be all over them like a rash and will be down on them like a ton of bricks when they miss their first payment. Other than that, I really don't care who else they rip off, assuming of course that the local charities are now wise to them and won't trust a word they say.
  21. Yeah, but still b-anned from POL for daring to not toe the party line
  22. So if the snooze couldn't print it because of libel laws and legal threats, then presumably it wasn't true - after all, had it been true they would have had nothing to worry about surely? More of this in a sec Is that the very same Football League, who, during their last meeting stated that they could do nothing until PKF decided who exactly was going to be their preferred bidder, then they would take their next steps? Knobhead Neil seems to be implying that the delivery of this libelous information has in some way shaped events to end up with the PST as preffered bidder. Seems a bit odd to be claiming that. Nope, knobhead Neil is definitely suggesting that the FL have had an influence over PKF's decision - surely this is VERY much against their own rules, and Chinny - being a person with a history of being litigious - would have a strong case against them.... You the man Neil, You the man! Or perhaps it's because no-one else can be bothered to talk to you It's odd that none of these claims have even been printed by knobhead Neil. You'd have thought that a sports journalist would have been overjoyed to get a scoop and print it, especially one regarding his beloved team? Perhaps Neil has had a different agenda all along? TWO AND A HALF YEARS and only 4671 dirty skates have bothered to watch it - at best! I'm sure a number of those 4671 were dirty faaacking scummahs and skates watching it more than once, I wonder how many views in the last month! Pathetic that so few of the 250,000 bestest really couldn't give a monkey's where the cash came from! 29 Neil, 29
  23. The situation : My Macbook is getting on a bit - 5 years old now I believe. Running OSX 10.5.8 with all the current updates installed. I've been running Chrome as my browser for a couple of years, but Chrome is now no longer supporting my OS version - this has caused issues with the inbuilt flash not working properly, despite being updated to current version. Firefox isn't working properly either. That leaves Safari as my only option - which to be frank is very slow! Anyone got any recommendations for an alternative browser - if there are any out there! - or how to update my OS without cost?
  24. Can one of the mods make this a sticky / golden post? It would then be much easier to find once all of the above DON'T happen and we can deride PES in a manner befitting has proud yet deluded boasts Hopefully we can finally get rid of the numpty when he throws his toys out of the pram and scurries off to POL just like the corpse did.
