Wasn't 'this time last year' one of those points in their history where they weren't even certain if there would even be a club for the forthcoming season? As a result I believe they had an all time record low season ticket take up. Not really much of an achievement to beat that to be fair! Also, 3 weeks in to the selling period, I suspect the majority of people looking to buy a season ticket will have done so now. I'd be surprised if they manage to flog 7k ST's - perhaps someone can point me in the direction of their bizniz plan to see how many short of the projection this will be - I seem to recall 11k ST's being bandied around as a break even figure....

The man's a complete moron! IIRC the ONLY physical token they received in exchange for their grand was a badge, probably not even a shiny one at that! Who the hell is going to pay him MORE THAN ONE THOUSAND POUNDS for a non shiny, bit of tat, badge?
